That article is very misleading. Chillicothe is openly looking to leave and Logan is at least listening to options. With the shake ups that are happening in the OCC and MSL, I find it hard to believe that both Logan and Chillicothe won't be in one league or the other within a few years. That would leave the SEOAL with only 4 teams. Two of which are 112 miles apart. I just can't see how the league could survive that. All of these ADs saying they're not looking to leave are playing the PC game. Of course they aren't "looking" to leave, but with all of the jockeying in Central Ohio leagues, they're going to be forced into doing something else.

The future doesn't look bright for SEOAL. When Logan and Chillicothe are admitted to the Mid-State League (Just don't see OCC going to 36 or 40 membersI, then the others have to scramble to find a league. Most of the leagues in their area are not interested in inviting any of them or have already turned down their applications before.

I don't see Warren going back to the Tri-Valley, but do see them joining the ECOL in which Marietta is already a member.

Gallipolis doe not have many options but they would fit in the Ohio Valley Conference with Rock Hill, South Point, Chesapeake, River Valley and Dawson-Bryant, Proctorville Fairland. Of course Ironton is independent, but it schedules these schools.

Portsmouth and Jackson will seek membership in the Southern Ohio Conference with Portsmouth West, Wheelersburg, Wavery, Valley, Minford, and Northwest.
