Div. I R3

#1 Pickerington Central----LB play will determine winner.
#2 Hilliard Davidson---- Same reason I take them every other week.

Div. I R4

#2 Colerain---- Everyone says they are team to beat.
#8 Wayne---BM is too good.

Div. II R7

#1 Marion-Franklin---To well rounded. Upset if QB fails......
#3 Uniontown Lake--- Rationale of TV upset NA with injured stars. Lake too much

Div II R5

#4 Ashland--- Tough schedule prepared them for this test
#2 Mentor Lake Catholic----Best team in D2

Area teams still alive in other divisions.

Div. III R10

#1 Watterson--- Battle tested.

Div. III R11

#1 Alliance Marlington---Too much for Valley. Many ways to get it done
#7 Dover--- Matchup of even teams. Ball bounces right way for Dover.

Div. IV R15

#3 Bishop Hartley----Speed kills

Div. IV R16

#2 Johnathan Alder-----Their year. Might win it all.

Div. V R20

#2 West Jefferson---One more for WJ

Div. VI R23

#2 Bridgeport-----Both tradition schools......Close game.

I think St.X will give Colerain a great game but Colerain will be too much. I think X's D will do a good enough job to keep the game close but I don't think X's O will be able to move the ball consistently the whole game. I would love too see a HHW(Braxton Miller) vs Colerain region 4 final. That would be one heck of a game!!

I don't think the Colerain vs Wayne would be much of a game. Watched both of them in person this year and I think Colerain is to good for Wayne. If Colerain will lose before Week 14 it will be to St. X.

I disagree. Now that Braxton Miller is just about 100% HHW is a totally different team. When he's healthy the mind set of that team is way different (they look more confident and have just overall played and looked better when BM is healthy). I'm not saying HHW would win that game but it would be a great game. Another thing is Wayne's D shut down Middletown's O and they had one of the best Offenses in the state. HHW D is underrated.

First Middletown played a horrible schedule.
Alot of people down in Cincy picked Wayne over Middletown. I have a couple of buddies down in the Cincy area and they said it was a joke the Middies got the #1 seed. They both said Wayne would beat Middletown by 3 or 4 scores. Looks like they were right.

Miller was healthy vs Moeller and they blanked him after the 1st half, and Colerain and St. X have better defenses then Moeller.

I agree with you that Middletown played a terrible schedule and I also thought they were overrated. But they still had a great Offense and HHW D did a great job vs that O (Middletown's D was terrible). I think since the Moeller game HHW has gotten way better on both sides of the ball especially on D. If the R4 final is between HHW vs Colerain I would take Colerain by 10-13 pts but it would NOT be a blowout it would be a great game!!

Div. I R3

Westerville South - Even faster on turf...will spring the upset!

Hilliard Davidson - Springfield now gets to play the bigger, badder brother. Davidson by 15.

Div. I R4

Colerain - Blue Collar John Q Public over the Bombers

Centerville - Better than Wayne

Div. II R7

Marion-Franklin - Too many athletes for the Nut

Uniontown Lake - ALWAYS beats the snot out of Tri Valley

Div II R5

Ashland - I'm picking an upset here
Mentor Lake Catholic

Area teams still alive in other divisions.

Div. III R10

Watterson - Wins week after Holy War

Div. III R11

Alliance Marlington - I'll be rooting for Licking Valley but I think Alliance team too much
Thornville Sheridan - Uh...the fewest points this team has scored this year is 42!!!!!!!!!!!!

Div. IV R15

Heath - Over Hartley. Should be a good one.

Div. IV R16

Alder - Two terrific programs...I'll go with the public school to prevail.

Div. V R20

West Jefferson - Go Rough Riders!

Div. VI R23

Newark Catholic - Has played a much tougher schedule

Div. I R3
#1 Pickerington Central vs #4 Westerville South....PC will be able to contain RB Jayshon Jackson and if you do that you just about shut down their offense. PC 28-13
#2 Hilliard Davidson vs # 3 Springfield....This is going to a great game. If SF want's to win this game they must play very very very discipline and not commit alot of penalties. I don't see that happening. I think HD is able to move the ball and their D takes the big play away from SF. If you take the big play away from SF then their O really isn't that good. HD 24-10

Div. I R4
#2 Colerain vs #6 St. Xavier....St.X's O won't be able to move the ball consistently and Colerain's O will be too much. I do think St.X's D is going to play a very good game tho. Colerain 21-10
#5 Centerville vs #8 Wayne...Braxton Miller will have a big game and the HHW D will force Centerville to throw the ball and Cville has NO passing game. HHW 27-17

Div. II R7
#1 Marion-Franklin vs #5 Big Walnut...MF has to many athletes and will be too fast for BW. MF 27-10
#3 Uniontown Lake vs #7 Dresden Tri-Valley....Lake IMO is the best team in this region and Tri-Valley won't be able too stop Lake's running game. Lake 28-13

Div II R5
#1 Tallmadge vs #4 Ashland
#2 Mentor Lake Catholic vs #6 Warren Howland

Area teams still alive in other divisions.

Div. III R10
#1 Watterson vs #5 Elida....Don't know alot about this team but I see Watterson coming out and running the ball down their throats and the D will get a shut out. 27-0

Div. III R11
#1 Alliance Marlington vs #5 Licking Valley
#3 Thornville Sheridan vs #7 Dover

Div. IV R15
#2 Heath vs #3 Bishop Hartley

Div. IV R16
#2 Johnathan Alder vs #6 Kettering Alter

Div. V R20
#2 West Jefferson vs #3 Cincinnati Hills

Div. VI R23
#2 Bridgeport vs #3 Newark Catholic

Div. I R3

#1 Pickerington Central vs #4 Westerville South The Tiger D will use the nut cracker formation to shell the Peanut. (lame attempt at wit.) they are my Tigers and I stand by them...
#2 Hilliard Davidson vs # 3 Springfield HD in a tight game. It will come down to a few plays and I think HD will make them happen. Could swing either way. DePriest and Company will bring it.

Div. I R4

#2 Colerain vs #6 St. Xavier Cardinals on a mission to return to Canton. I think they break down the last season surge of St. X.
#5 Centerville vs #8 Wayne Brax-ton Mil-ler, Clap clap clap-clap-clap. gotta go with em. C'ville became inconsistent as the year went on.

Div. II R7

#1 Marion-Franklin vs #5 Big Walnut Red Devils making it happen. Big Nut had help from Canal in the tune of turnovers. MF moves on.
#3 Uniontown Lake vs #7 Dresden Tri-Valley Lake will bring too much for the surging TV squad. May have lived the dream with win over NA but the wake up call is coming.. would love to have them prove me wrong. Good story here. If TV wins it all, will Longaberger issue a commemorative basket?

Div II R5

#1 Tallmadge vs #4 Ashland -Cuz they are #1. No other reason.
#2 Mentor Lake Catholic vs #6 Warren Howland - MLC always a solid program.

Area teams still alive in other divisions.

Div. III R10

#1 Watterson vs #5 Elida - DeSales was a tougher test. Elida new to the playoffs of late. Eagle Experience over Bulldog bravado. Although, I bought my copy of Ozzy's Bark at the Moon album at Mind Dust Music in Elida. Not enough to sway my pick.

Div. III R11

#1 Alliance Marlington vs #5 Licking Valley Mount Union players suit up.
#3 Thornville Sheridan vs #7 Dover Generally speaking, I think Sheridan marches on.

Div. IV R15

#2 Heath vs #3 Bishop Hartley Picking the Hawks to soar. I think they have a sound team and will overcome the Heath-ens

Div. IV R16

#2 Johnathan Alder vs #6 Kettering Alter Alder playing well and came close to beating Massie which is another heavy run team. That experience will serve them well.

Div. V R20

#2 West Jefferson vs #3 Cincinnati Hills - The Riders continue to roll. Hoping for a WJ versus Coldwater Regional Final

Div. VI R23

#2 Bridgeport vs #3 Newark Catholic - something in my gut said they would win. Or is that something I ate at the MNF game??

Pickerington Central - I'll go with the old addage that great defense beats great offense.

Hilliard Davidson - The defending State Champs are the favorite until they get beat.

St. Xavier - My first major upset pick.
Wayne - Makes it two in a row over the Elks.

Marion-Franklin - Runs over the Golden Eagles.
Dresden Tri-Valley - My second major upset pick.

Ashland - A tougher schedule pays off.
Mentor Lake Catholic - They meet Ashland next week.

Watterson - They win big.

Alliance Marlington - The Panthers lose a close one.
Thornville Sheridan - This may be one of the better games.

Bishop Hartley - Speed wins over from power.

Johnathan Alder - Gets revenge from last years beating.

West Jefferson - They ground the high flying Eagle air attack.

Bridgeport - Throttles the GreenWave

Div. I R3

Pickerington Central over Westerville South - My Tigers advance to the Regional Championship game.

Hilliard Davidson over Springfield - I will pick Davidson but I would not be surprised to see an upset. Springfield is a dangerous team.

Div. I R4

Colerain over St. Xavier - Colerain. It will be battle but Colerain will advance.

Wayne over Centerville - Having seen the first match up I thought Centerville wasn't very good. They had a couple nice wins after. Now I'm thinking that the first meeting was just a bad night for Centerville. That said, so far this playoff season it seems like when we have a rematch of a game where one team dominated the other in the regular season... the rematch goes to the team that won the first time.

Div. II R7

Marion-Franklin over Big Walnut - I think Marion Franklin will roll. I attended the New Albany game last weekend and their fans couldn't believe Big Walnut beat Canal... they thought BW was not very good. I haven't see BW but I'll take their word for it.

Uniontown Lake over Dresden Tri-Valley - I see a Lake vs. Marion Franklin Regional Championship game.

Div II R5

Ashland over Tallmadge - I know nothing about these teams, but I'm picking mostly higher seeds... there have to be some wins by lower seeds.

Mentor Lake Catholic over Warren Howland - really don't know anything about the teams of Region 5... just guessing.

Div. III R10

Watterson over Elida - Watterson wins big.

Div. III R11

Alliance Marlington over Licking Valley - I'm afraid it's the end of the road for LV.

Thornville Sheridan over Dover - From what I hear, they're the real deal.

Div. IV R15

Bishop Hartley over Heath - flipped a coin.

Div. IV R16

Johnathan Alder over Kettering Alter - JA will pull it out in a close one.

Div. V R20

West Jefferson over Cincinnati Hills - Just picked the local team.

Div. VI R23

Bridgeport over Newark Catholic - Bridgeport is not at full strength, so I'm not overly confident in this pick.

Pick Central - is it week 14 yet? No, oh...OK...then I'm picking Central
Davidson - I was correct with my preseason love for Springfield but way wrong with my prediction of Davidson being 'down' this year. I still don't think they ahve enough to repeat or get past PC or Colerain, but I think White's system is enough to get them by a very talented Springfield team this week.
Colerain - Colerain has been my pick for R4 champ all year and I am not about to change it now.
Centerville - Very hard to pick the Elks given the way they looked the first time around, but I think they'll bounce back.
Marion Franklin - Next....
Lake - Should be a slobber knocker. Would not be surprised to see Tri-Valley pull an upset here, but I'm going with Lake.
Tallmadge - Marcus Fuller becomes a playoff correspondent this week.
MLC - I'm down wit' MLC, yeah you know me....
Watty - Could get very ugly
Marlington - Really know nothing about them, going on who they beat and by how much.
Sheridan - Ditto
Hartley - Tough call, head says Heath, Heart say Hart(ley).
Jon Alder - Alder has played with the big boys this year. Won't be sad to see Bish Alter sent home....
West Jeff - Staying local. No reason other than that.
Bridgeport - They breed them tuff in that section of the state, knew a lot of Bridgeport guys in college.
