Orrville starters out by 1/2. Should be the best "D" WH has seen thus far. Orrville 49-0

Good luck to WH, but they don't have the horses to run with them this year.

i just hope Orrville doesnt keep turning it over ,cause they will lose to Ashland,Clear fork, and prob Wooster. Then they squeak into the playoffs and are 1 and done. How can we have a 1000 yard back and lineman returning and struggle so bad on O. I think the D can only hang on so long before all the T.Os BITE US IN THE BUTT

just have to keep improving. We just don't have coaches that want to committ to run the ball. They know what they are doing more than you and I. We will get better each week offensively,,,,we can't get any worse. haha. Let's face it, with a soph QB it will take a while. On the bright side...with that D..if we get this thing going we have a very good chance to make some noise down the stretch. We'll find out next week at Ashland. Who by the way...started a soph QB named Fuller a couple years ago and took their lumps. I don't remember their record but I know they weren't 4-1 after 5 weeks with the only loss a 1pt double overtime. Do you realize the last three games we have lost were all 1 pt. Dang.

You should remember Orrville beat us 21-0
We were 4-6 that year ( 1-4 after 5 ) only beating Willard, West Holmes, Mansfield Senior and Clear Fork.
So just hang in there.

but you don't

Thanks for the info....I knew it wasn't what you were used to over there in Ashland county. I hope with our supporting cast we can do better than that this year. Like I said earlier....next week will tell us a lot. If we can improve offensively against a team like Ashland..win or lose it may be a positive for the young QB although many Red Rider supporters may not agree...after all this is Orrville and we expect a W no matter what.

We need to focus ont his game. Limit misyakes so we can be hitting our stride down the stretch. This game is the definition of a trap game. This game is being over looked. Come out focused handle business and then let's get ready for Ashland.

This game may appear to be overlooked by us bozos, but I can guarantee it is not bing overlooked by the players/staff. There is no mention of Ashland this week there. But there just isn't much ************** from the Kinights?

I have only seen a small amount of film, but there goal is to come right at you. They have had success doing it against most of their opponents...just sputter offensively kind of like us. I think they are very young and each game those kids have a little more experience and expect them to improve...like our QB. You cannot hide the fact that they do not match our athleticism...you'd be lying...but that doesn't guarantee a victory. We have seen that happen before. I look for them to run right at us between the tackles with some counters, traps, power and base blocking schemes. This coach was at Madison last year.....they had success against us doing that same thing. Get on them early and DO NOT TURN THE BALL OVER!

^^^Well lookey here we have a Genoa Comet fan trolling on our thread and rooting for the Knights. gcg58 you wouldn't be trying to somehow dodge the Red Riders by hoping they don't make the playoffs by rooting on our opponents now would you? I would have thought a confident Comet fan such as yourself would relish any opportunity to suit it up again against the Red Riders for a little revenge! I am so puzzled by this.......Oh and just so you know we don't forget too easily either here is your post from just before week 11 from last year.....

And I quote..." personally think the only two teams that roll through their region are Genoa and Amanda-Clearcreek although Coshocton may be a bit of a threat to AC I still see the Aces getting to the Final 4..."

Oh Dang!!!!!!! GO RIDERS! and GO COMETS because we certainly want another shot at you all.

The riders will come out and take care of business, don't worry. The coaches and players are not overlooking WH, REMEMBER 2008??? Yeah that is not going to happen again. As for our young QB, he is growing with each start and I do see improvement in things. As a former QB I see those little things that encompass the QB position. Sure he has missed some throws, or started games off bad, or turnovers, or sacked. BUT, he finds ways to lead this offense to wins even though things don't go our way the whole game. He's going to be a good one and we have a lot to look forward to the next 2 years.

Well. I don't see this or any game as a trap game. WH has played us tough in the past and I would not expect any different this week.

I know I am a pass first kind of guy but we need to grind it out a little right now to get the you QB to gain some confidence and grow.

Riders need to take care of business if you let any team hang it can bite you.

You got hurt real bad and since then the only thing you've been able to eat is CROW. The Red Riders win this one easily by 14 or more before turning their attention to their rivalry at Ashland. THAT will be a great game. I too would like to see an Orville/Genoa rematch, BUT that is a LOOONNNGGG way off. Both teams need to win and take are of business. Good luck to the Red Riders and the Knights this week for an injury free and competitive game.

Can we finish the season before we start talking about deep playoff runs. I am a huge Orrville fan and this team should not be looking at that right now. The main reason is they are not good enough right now to think that way.

They may get there but the riders need to work on many things and the first thing is getting the game plane in and learned for WH.
