Keep working hard Rangers, and come out hitting on cylinders and play one game at a time! Stay positive and keep swinging!

GO RANGERS!

Should be interesting to see how LE bounces back after getting embarrassed at home last week. Its tough for a young team to put 4 solid quarters together. All you can ask for is improvement. They have a beast at middle linebacker that could be a good match-up for HT's #4. Hamilton Township sounds like they are playing some good football right now and in the end, I hate to say it, should come out on top. I just hope the Braves can keep it close and gain some confidence and get better.

The lopsided score of the game was a fluke not the outcome.

Although I predict a Ranger victory, I expect this will be a good guage of how good Hamilton is. I have thoroughly enjoyed the season so far & can't wait for kickoff tonight.

Looks like some crazy weather tonight, bring out the raincoats!

HT 42 - LE 21

41-13 Hamilton.

One of the worst performances by HT this year. Very sloppy game.

LE should be embarassed by some of their players. Pretty dirty group of kids... that's all I'll say about that.

Good luck the rest of the way LE!

Box score/stats here:

Are these accurate? The Braves held HT to 140 total yards on the night?

Yup, that's correct. The Rangers defense took over the load tonight. I believe Logan Elm's time of possession in the 2nd quarter was 11 minutes and 30 seconds. HT didn't run a play from scrimmage until the last play before halftime.

HT also made a goal-line stand in the 2nd, stopping LE four consecutive plays after 1st and goal, at least 3 of them at the one -yard line.

Logan Elm's Cory Heeter was nothing short of amazing - that kid ran up the middle I don't know how many times, and we couldn't touch him. Explosive, elusive, I swear he's made of mercury. And he's a freshman? Have mercy. And Vagnier was just as tough on the quick quarterback keeper up the middle, plus he was patient in the pocket. Fortunately, the Rangers' halftime adjustments slowed them down, but only just a little.

The Rangers did not really have the ball on offense that much they scored every other way possible . offense did not get in a good rhythm until late in the game .

Two or three pick 6 for HT(think one got called back) and a kickoff return TD. Not much offense for them but they didn't need it. LE fell apart again after being down 14-13 at thehalf. Not sure why #51 Luke Thompson was benched the first quarter for LE. Hats off to Hamilton. They capitalized on the Braves mistakes and made them pay.

The Rangers only had 3 possessions in the first half. The first started inside their five, the second at their own one, and that last with seventeen seconds to go in the half.

The defense was on the field the entire first half.

Logan Elm had a good game plan, no-huddle hurry up offense, keep the ball away from the Rangers. I was worried at the half, but LE - their coach included - seemed to unravel at the first sign of adversity.
