DIII Central District: Bishop Ready upsets #1 Fredricktown

Ready(unseeded) defeated the Freddies of Fredricktown(#1 central district) 4-3 in one of the most memorable high school baseball games I have ever seen.The district semi-final was held in Fredricktown... quite a nice facility. Pitching was lights out. Defense was spectacular. Congratulations to all those who played. It was a great game. Both teams pitched their # 2 pitchers, and both young men posted great outings.

Also advancing.... Columbus Academy (#7), Marion Pleasant(#2), and Liberty Union(#8). Bishop Ready will face academy at 2 at Hilliard Davidson, the other two face off at 5.

That wouldn't be district semi's those would be Sectional Finals. The Districts don't start until next week. FYI

It was a District quarterfinal.....no sectional titles recognized in the Central District......FYI

thanks, i knew it was wrong but i knew there were no sectionals. Does it matter though? IT was still a great game

Todays game against Columbus Academy has been canceled. I dont know about the 5 o clock game
