Lets look again at the Division I chaos that took place Saturday inside "the Barn"...

Among the 12 Division I teams participating in Saturday’s action, there were four unbeatens and 10 D-1 college commits along with countless other players with D-1 interest. Needless to say, “the Barn” was filled with talent.

Great games one thing in the piece that was incorrect was that Treavon Jackson picked up his 3rd foul after playing 2min in the 2qtr after he picked up his 2nd foul after playing a little over 2min in the 1st quarter. Nonetheless, great win by the Red Devils, and good work.

I really liked how Hill kept his head and played a solid game despite Mt. Vernon getting very physical with him. I also thought the Jackson boy for South was a lot better then I had expected. Being an outside observer I felt that the officials in the south/franklin game were terrible. I don't believe the better team won that game Saturday. Macon has a ton of potential too.
Does anyone else think that the real state title game will be the regional title game between Northland/Gahanna (assuming it happens)? I think if Gahanna heats up from outside they could potentially outscore Northland, they def. won't have an answer for Sullinger though. Thats a big if and likely wont happen, shooting with that backdrop has to be difficult too.

shs,

I think teams like St.Edward's, LaSalle, Moeller, Princeton, and a few others would disagree.

ohioguru03 is correct, there are some very good teams outside of central who are as good and maybe better than Gahanna. In central Ohio I would say Gahanna is the best team other than Northland, but they still have to get past Dublin Coffman and Marion Franklin, and when both of those team are on their game, they are really tough to beat.

distressed05, I believe that Brian Sullivan of UA has been looked at by some MAC schools, in particular Eastern Michigan. I was thinking today that in all of my time going to games at the "Barn" that last Saturday has the most D1 college talent on display in the same day.

I'm hearing that Brian Sullivan has got the attention and an offer (unconfirmed) from of Cornell University;

Jordan Potts from Northland has lots of Mid Major interest, including the offer from James Madison thats on the table, with some larger schools looking in for next year...

Keychawn Lewis from Northland has lots of Mid to Upper Major interest with an offer from Miami of Ohio on the table...

Jalen Robinson from Northland has committed to West Virginia...

Those teams are good and should definitely think they can compete.
But to me at the end of the day Gahanna with the three headed monster - Taylor,Jackson and Brandenburg would be too much for them. So,there is a good chance that three of the five will have there season end by a loss to Northland. LaSalle,Moeller and Princeton will beat each other with one of them advancing to the State. There is a real good chance that St.Ed's makes it. Without looking ahead to the State pairings both of them could fall to Northland as well as Gahanna in the regional final.

I've watched LaSalle, Moeller, and Princeton.....Gahanna is better then those three. Doubt anyone touches Northland though.
