I'd say it is still Bloom Carroll, Cardington, and Centerburg as top three. Then choices of Ready,Grandview, North Union, Elgin, Madison Plains, Fredericktown, Fairbanks and Worthington Christian. Again it's only on paper should be a great tournament to see who can put three or four wins together to get to Regionals.

I'd say Ready, Madison Plains, Bloom Carroll are your favorites to this point. These are the three teams that play a tough schedule and have all had their ups and downs because of it. There are about 5 others who can really throw a wrench in there too. Oughta be a fun draw. I see the top couple seeds battling it out to go to Dayton. I have seen the Dayton teams and I have seen the Bowling Green teams and Bowling Green is a much tougher regional this year. I have seen Liberty Benton, Coldwater, Ottawa Glandorf, St. Henry, Taft, and Anna. The Dayton region is definately going to be an easier route to Columbus.

I will got with Bloom, Plains, and Ready as well, All play tough schedules and come tourney time your record does not matter, these three teams play a quality team night after night and in the end thats why they stand out year in and year out in the Central District, and that's why they will this year. I'm excited for the draw.

just to clarify, Taft and anna are in the Southwest (Dayton) district/region. I wasn't sure if you meant you had compared those 2 to the others in the BG regional or if you thought they were also in the BG regional, but Anna and Taft are definitely Dayton.

Cardington, Centerburg, Bloom, Ready, Plains, Fredericktown, North Union are my top 7,after that you have Grandview, Elgin, Pleasant, Johnstown, Academy, Heath.
Based on strength of schedule I would go Bloom, Ready, Plains, Centerburg. Cardington still has to play Hartley, Fredericktown, Buckeye Valley, Elgin not sure their schedule has tested them yet.
Bad thing for Columbus is they match with the Elida District Champ which could be Lib. Benton, OG, St. Henry, Coldwater, or LCC. Dayton has an open draw so you don't know who is going to go where yet.
Either way when you get to 16 teams left, you gonna have to play someone good!

When its down to 16 teams left there all good, at that point it comes down to who you can match up with and ultimately the teams who make it to the regoinals year in and year out are scouting teams from all over to see who they can match up and compete with, but once your down to 16 teams everyone is good!

96er you are correct about that schedule. Take into account that out of those teams you listed Cardington would play 4 of those 6 on the ROAD. The two home games from that group were Hartley and Fredericktown. Hartley was postponed and Fredericktown is next week. Burg is definately a much better team on their home court as well as Buckeye Valley and Elgin. We'll find out soon how that strength of schedule issue comes about. If I remember correctly Bloom went to overtime in their first game and played a very strong Hartley team without the service of their 1st team all state player, named Siefert, in last years tournament run. But that's the way it goes and they went to regionals.

Seifert played for Hartley against Bloom-Carroll last year and had 19 points in that district final game.

Worthington Christian would be my 'sleeper' team in the tourney in D3. They had a poor start but have been playing well as of late.

Statman you are correct about Worthington Christian, they will knock off someone in the tournament.
Last night saw some top teams fall....Centerburg got blasted by Utica and Madison Plains was sent packing by Washington Courthouse, Grandview loses a close one in OT to liberty Union. I think most people had those 3 teams in the top 7.
Fredericktown is a team that could also do some damage in the tourney.

I dont think there is a clear cut favorite in this district/division. Any of the top 10 teams or so could beat anyone on any given night. this should make for a very interesting and exciting tournament!

Ready over Worthington Christian.
Cardington falls to Buckeye Valley (fyi Buckeye Valley was beaten a week ago by Worthington Christian).
Fredericktown loses a close one to Johnstown.
Centerburg bounces back to beat East Knox
North Union has huge 4th Quater to beat Pleasant.
Top 6 ...1. Bloom...2. Ready....3. Centerburg....4. Madison Plains....5. Cardington...6. North Union/Fredericktown.
Voting has to be in by tomorrow by noon I believe.
Any good games to catch tomorrow? Gotta be some make ups.

Madison Plains has a nice home game tomorrow. I think Ready has a make up game against someone. Again as stated earlier many teams are bettter on their home courts. Last time I checked there are no home court advantages in the tournaments (hence those upsets will continue). I checked last years D.3 seeds and noticed the #8 Bloom and the #5 Grandview were the teams to get out of Columbus. Great up-coming games in 11 days. Again the question is WHO can win 3 or 4 away games in a row? We will find out.

Saturday night.....
Bloom wins @ Amanda
Ready wins @ Hilliard Darby
Fairbanks loses to Springfield Northeastern.
Madison Plains wins v. Miami Trace.
Columbus Academy falls to Licking Valley.
Worthington Christian wins @ St. Charles. They are a scary team right now, playing very well!
West Jeff wins v. Fisher Catholic
Grandview knock off Berne Union in a close one.

Bowling Green Bracket:
Mt. Gilead vs. Horizon Science winner to play Bloom Carroll.

Very interesting draw as the top 3 seeds went up and 4-8 went down. There are a couple of games where I think top seeded teams will regret not taking a bye.
Thoughts on who you think the winners will be from each district?

Really? I think they got the short end of the stick having to play Worthington Christian first round. They are a scary team right now.
