Sounded like a great tournament!

I’d like to invite all the wrestlers and their parents that did not qualify at the New Lexington District to the OAC qualifier at Steubenville. Here is the link to the registration:

https://secure.ohioathletics.com/ogs10/entryform.lasso

Here is a link to all the information about the Steubenville OAC District qualifier:

Any questions can be emailed to:

Ssmith@OVAeCwrestling.com

Hope to see you all in Steubenville,

Sean Smith

Congrats to New Lex for a well run tournament. Been to this district for 5 years...This year was the most competitive in my opinion.

Default Miron - 02-01-2010, 07:00 AM

I think Miron is far from classless....he wasn't even there so people are just throwing around generalizations. Miron trains each wrestler hard and is very dedicated to his sport, parents and wrestlers. I respect Miron more than a lot of coaches. He pushes his wrestlers to be the best they can be. He also cares for each of them greatly. In my book that defines what a class act is made of.

Congrats to Circleville
Nate Keaton Pinned all the way through
Nick Keaton beat a man child in semis
Josh Doherty lost a tough one to Yinger 13-10 I think
Ben Boysel lost in OT to Wimer
Tim Buckner gets better every match
Nicholas Peecher always finds a way to win!!
Reggie Amey 1st year and is a good one!
Tyler Matthews Great athlete and impressed the heck out of me...
Also We had a few other kids wrestle great.....Chad Sowers, Dietrich Boysel alt, and Greg Brewer lost a couple overtime matches, but were right there with some great wrestlers. Overall a very good day for the Tigers. Tourney was ran as good as it could of been with that many kids there.

Great Job Keato! Once again Circleville and Lancaster come ready to wrestle.I just want to give a shout out to Greg Brewer and let everyone know that this grappler works very hard and to look out for him,he will have state level success very soon.He is a wonderful kid has great parents and has a program type of persona,as well as his coach and fellow wrestlers.

Always nice to see familiar faces in the coaching chairs. I also noticed a lot of kids from different teams cheering for each other and saw some great sportsmanship from teh wrestlers. Sometimes the coaches and parents can get a little over zealous, but I saw nothing but great sportsmanship from all the kids. Congrats to all of the kids that made it out of New Lex yesterday, because they had to fight tooth and nail to place.

He was fnu to watch, little Ian learned he still has a lot to learn when he is on his feet. No shame in losing to solid kid like that.
