Some of the HT Little Rangers will be present. Do u have to declare your weight when u register or when u weigh in?

you have until 10 pm thurs day to change your weight....

You must declare your weight before hand and make that weight that day. If I register at D3 75 I must weigh no more than 75.0 lbs. If I weigh 75.1 I get to go home early but can pay another $30 to try and make it at another district. Like Craceman posted you have until Thursday night to make weight changes.

Remember, per OAC rules you must way in in shorts & shirt / or / in singlet with straps pulled up. There will be NO exceptions at any districts. This was handed down from the powers that be

I have a couple questions for Jude or someone in the know.

First of all the entry deadline is Friday Jan.29 10 pm.Correct???

Secondly, on the state info it says headgear is mandatory.This has not been the case in the past.Is it mandatory at districts and state,neither or both??

We just returned from Marion this past weekend and in the coaches meeting, Jude told all the coaches that if your wrestler does not wear a head gear, he will be penalized one point. If your wrestler is wearing a lowcut greco or freestyle singlet they will be penalized one point. Mouth pieces are not manditory.

I am not allowed to release weight class numbers or overall district numbers. However, the numbers at this point are lower than last year. (Although, still a solid signup). This may open up the possibility of a improved chance at qualifiying for state out of the New Lex district this year. Signup online.

I've heard that before then show up to 400 kids I think this will be pretty full by Sunday always well run with alot of good kids.

Yup New Lex is usually a pretty tough tourney. A lot of Miron kids will be there and I have also heard to expect kids from Wadsworth and other Cleveland area schools because of a OYWA scheduling conflict.
