Has an athlete received more a free pass than American swimmer Michael Phelps? Just saw him in a Subway commercial. In recent years, he's been convicted of drunk driving, and was in a photo using a bong a few years back. Yet, here he is, Mr. USA. Odd how some guys get away with it and some don't.

Hope routine cleaning is all I need. By the way did you get your bike back from the repair shop? Been awfully hot and humid to ride. Maybe I am just looking for a excuse not to peddle. Too hot, too winding, too cold, if I don't feel like riding I can come up with a lot.

Yes 19AL63, I got it back a few days ago and have been riding pretty regularly. I just returned from a 36 mile ride down the bike trail and it was the second consecutive day we made that little excursion. The downside is that it has been pretty hot. The upside is that my weight is coming down a little quicker and that encourages me to get after it a little bit more than a Senior Citizen may normally do. My odometer will go over 8,400 miles later on today.
