I'll admit, I'm dreaming if I say SC pulls this off. 3 defensive contributors hurt including a 3 year letterman in Phil Lafleur. I think Fitzmartin plays well and GI runs well but I'll go with PN winning 31-17. Closer than the 4 TD spread but not a repeat of last year versus the school on Cooke.

Hoping PN wins this one, but they didn't look good at all vs Westerville South last week in the final scrimmage. They got pasted 42-17. Defense looked especially pourous.

PN's Jake Butt is a classy kid. I like him. PN comes out with a comfortable margin over SC.

Pickt North rolled in this one 50-22. Godwin had a huge game. Still a little worried about the defense going forward, they gave up quite a few big plays tonight and suprisingly struggled more in run defense than against the pass. Big test vs Cincinnati Princeton in the home opener next week.

North has a D- line that was being pushed around all night. PN needs bigger bodies up there, especially the nose guard position. Godwin was superb and the passing game has come along way since DC and WS.

To SC's credit they didn't fold under superior fire power. They stuck to their game plan. However, I did not see the above average speed their coach spoke about with 7 players that have 4.7 forty speed or better. Either those players were not on the field, or they were timed by their coaches or teammates in the school parking lot instead of at combines. PN out ran SC at will. SC could not catch anyone. PN's offense was impressive but their defense was lackluster and played with no inspiration. The score could have been a lot worse. If PN doesn't make some corrections, they will lose to Princeton.
