Nice attempt at failed spin..A Michigan punter completely missing the ball on a punt attempt has nothing to do with coaching, or Denard diving for a first down and losing the ball before he hits the ground has nothing to do with coaching. Also not reading your keys and maintaining your deep coverage areas is totally on the Michigan players and not the former D Coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens. Us Michigan fans know all about bad coaching that were the trademark of Rich Rodriguez teams:1) Coaches not getting the proper signals into players before a fight nearly breaks out between the UM coaches/UM players-OSU game 2008. 2) players routinely not knowing where to line up before the snap. 3) allowing a big ten team(Illinois 2010) to run the same wheel route for multiple touchdowns before finally winning a shootout then STORMING THE FIELD after giving up 65 points in an overtime win!4)having defensive lineman not being taught fundammentals and technique since former Michigan standout Mike Martin was quoted as saying he played backyard football for 3 years and his position coach was not qualified for that job. Martin also said he learned more this year from Hoke than the other 3 years combined, and if it was not for this coaching staff he would not have been prepared for the NFL. Those days are long gone, but maybe you OSU fans might be able to relive those memories on the BIG Ten Network game of the week since Michigan is about to start a streak against OSU themselves. Beat Alabama!

A better definition of a poorly coached team is one that cannot beat a team that blows coverages and commits turnovers.

I agree with you that Ohio State was a poorly coached team last season, I don't agree with your reason why the game was close. If you want to what if and make excuses for poor play then I could say that Ohio State should have won if Braxton Miller would have been more accurate on his deep throws when he had receivers running deep wide open all day but I'm not going to say that, you won stop making excuses for winning.. As for the difference in talent between the 2 teams last year, I saw very little difference, all which means nothing for this year.

I was talking to Michigan Legend about the excuses for poor play, Sorry for not making that clear. I was agreeing with you that OSU was poorly coached last season. But as I said no need to argue about last season it's over, you won, I look forward to this season and playing Michigan at the end of the season. (which will amount to OSU's Bowl game)

OSU wins, and I don't think it'll be that close--I'll say 28-7 Bucks...it's our bowl game, in our house, against tsun...'nuff said

I see another great era in this series setting up. I despise scUM, but I respect them and Hoke. What Hoke and Mattison did with that defense last year was near miraculous. Same guys, just different coaching and scheme. Impressive.

However, biological impossibilities aside, I want to have Urban Meyer's baby. I think by the time THE GAME is over, everyone in the country will know who the best coach is and what the best program is in the BIG.

Way too early to tell. Michigan had a very favorable schedule in 2011, and they lost their key players on defense. Michigan should be able to score, but will they be able to keep the other team from scoring? OSU should have a great defense, but their offense is a big question. We should have a better handle on this about October 15.

I'll take the Buckeyes and the Urban renewal in this game. There is a a good chance that Ohio State may be playing for a perfect season in this game!!
