I heard that MU was just pounding KR and there were some injuries on KR's part. MU was just way more physical. This is just what I heard. I was not at the scrimmage. Now, I know MU looked horrible vs. Covington on Tuesday. So, maybe the Senior class at MU took that as a wake-up call or maybe they just beat up a weak team at KR. Who knows?

Good job Dogs! That is MU Football there. Beat em into submission!

Nice way for MU to respond for a poor showing in their first scrimmage. Being extremely physical is something that you would like to see from MU.

That is what I want to hear. Beat them so bad they quit and cry out that they want their mama.

I did hear that Bellbrook beat Tecumseh 22 to 18. My brother said Bellbrook's offense looked good, especially in the passing department. He did say they looked weak against the run.

MU is trying to migrate to a passing offense. But they have three really big and tough RB's. I think MU would be better served this year working in the pass here and there but running the ball down people's throats. Tecumseh is always going to be a good team.

I got to talking to a friend of mine who is originally from the Kenton Ridge area. He told me that Kenton Ridge is supposed to be bad this year because they lost 19 starters to graduation.

they were good last year. MU should take this scrimmage, and all scrimmages, with a grain of salt. Tipp hung with Alter in their scrimmage. That's not good for MU.

Very true about the scrimmages. They mean a little but not a lot. It was nice to hear that MU responded much better than they did the first scrimmage. That's the type of a response a quality team should make.

Default season - 08-14-2012, 11:00 AM

I for one am anxious for the season to get started. Scrimmages mean very little like you said, other than seeing what underclassman may be ready for varsity. On paper, this Milton team should be pretty good, we shall see how good they can be.
