Looks like East will dominate the West. It is also interesting that, presmably, the population of kids in the event is so heavily weighted eastward, that DeSales and Brookhaven kids are in the West.

Maybe some kids didn't even notice their invitations to play on Facebook?

A good way to get the summer started.

Flash: I miss that one too, but I give the Cap City folks a lot of credit for putting this thing on, for both the kids and the fans like me. If Dupe's never comes back, I wish the Cap City game a long and prosperous run.

I am just glad we are getting this game, seems like the allstar games are not what they once were.

I still miss the mid-state one that use to be played at Canal.
(Not sure whath the correct name was)

Has the dispatch given this game any ink?

How serious do the coaches in the area take this game as far as letting the players know that this is a game that they have a chance to play in?

How much info do those running this put out about this game letting the players know about this game?

Forgot to add a special thanks to those who run this event, because each year I have attended and did a game report I have had passes waiting for me at the gate.

7-6 East at the Half. West's little Fred Lee and Brookhaven's Vincent Meek have looked good for the West team. McCague from Orange has been getting lots of tackles.

Tied 13-13 with seconds left. East blocks the West FG attempt, but had too many men on the field. West misses the next one, as time expired, wide left I believe. OT. East wins in OT on a pick-6. 19-13 final. GREAT to be under the lights again.

After the game I did not go home so I had no way to post on this game.

First nice crowd last night at Reynoldsburg for this one.

Overall it appeared both teams played pretty clean and the game was very good, for an all star game.

TaBeal Radney #4 scored easily on the pick six.

Will have a game report for this one before to long.

What a great night for football (at least from a fan's perspective).

If there were adequate visitor's stands, the stadium would probably get serious consideration as a playoff site. It was nice to sit on the "Home" side for a change.

I haven't been to Reynoldsburg's stadium in I don't know how many years - 35 or so - and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful stadium.

The Radney kid seemed to be everywhere - offense, defense, kicking, receiving - and intercepting.

Quite a few nice clean hits out there, although the players appeared to get a little feisty at times.

Nice, well-run game - props to Cap City Preps for putting this on.

I noticed that. Visitor seats seeemed to stretch almost to both endzones, but only 5 rows deep? I didn't walk around, but it appeared they were landlocked in terms of trying to extend them farther back.

I wonder how feasible it would build up, maybe a second tier?
