Marion Local lost 17 starters from last years team, but still are preseason #1.
It might be a down year in the MAC for them but not in any other league.
Lima Shawnee is a D-3 team and no one is better with their adjustments at the half then Coldwater and ML.

WJ didn't play up to their potential last night but there is plenty of room for improvements.
The running game and passing game is there, the O-line did a great job.
Harris, DJ, Doran and company.
The D-line led by Ginn put a lot of heat on Burg's qb and hit him a few times.
The db's didn't do real bad but with ML's spread, they will eat us up with 4-5 wr's.
But C-Ville and shamm pretty much summed it up in their post.

Never underestimate Tim Goodwin and the Flyers. He always has those guys ready.

Agreed. Marion and their staff are very good at making adjustments.

WJ is a solid program and will give the Flyers a game and I'm sure their coaching staff will not take the Flyers lightly...no matter how many players were lost.

Believe me...we're used to it.

Yes we do and it has been a good one for us. I believe the Cavs have also signed a 2 year contract for our 2nd game with Columbus Bishop Hartley.

Cpt Cav is absolutely right WJ will never take ML or Coldwater or any other team in that league lightly, I don't care if they had a losing record. One thing I know is the MAC teams we have played are extremely well coached and execute their fundamentals, along with having some great athletes. As everyone knows WJ has NOT faired well against the MAC in part due to the great coaching adjustments. Always look forward to the challenge and looking forward to getting another crack at them.

Pride, well put, lots of good things happen Friday, still much improvement needed, but I think a win this Friday could prime them for something special with the additional confidence it would bring.

We hope to get another shot at Coldwater this year and again would welcome the challenge.
