It's funny that I don't toe the party line, either. I just take each issue as it comes, try to educate myself and then make up my own mind.
I used to comment on some lefty message boards, getting attacked for being too moderate. Now, on here, I'm viewed as a left-winger!
Like you, I haven't changed a bit over the years. I'm still socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Whatever that makes me, then so be it.

I think we're great friends even if our paths never cross. Both on social and fiscal issues, my feelings mirror your's. We'll stick to our guns and let them label us as they may. It won't change me and I suspect the same holds true for you. :)
