Catholic Central had their first scrimmage of the year tonight. They played at Dayton Northridge. I have not heard how it went but it might not be a good barometer of the season since Northridge is typically weak? It is always good to go against other teams though.

SCC's other scrimmage will be against Miami East later this week (typically Friday morning).

How are the other teams faring so far?

Yeah, Northridge went 0-10 last year I believe. They were one of the Burgs' 3 wins.

I'm going to try and drum up more talk on here...

Did WLS and Urbana scrimmage on Tuesday?
If so, how did it go?

Should've been a good match up.

Unfortunately I just don't have the time to follow the scrimmages and 7 on 7's, so I can't help anyone out with the results.

I hope tigers best is right though....those are some larger, tough teams!

WLS is predicted to be the best in the league so this does not surprise me. Has anyone heard how Cedarville is do with their new coach?

I've heard similar reports on WLS' scrimmages. The team was good last year, I think they may be better this year.

I've heard Triad has done well so far too.

I honestly think the league title will come down to Week 10. I think both the Cardinals and Tigers will be unbeaten in league play heading into that game.

What are roster numbers in the OHC like this year?
I heard Triad and Burg's numbers are down. Catholic Central is down and likely won't field a JV team.

There's a lot of hype about WLS this year. That's impressive considering they've lost Mack, White and Konkle.
I was impressed with their quarterback Sims last year. He was just as dangerous running the ball as the other skill kids plus he made few if any mistakes passing the ball.
I guess the OHC should just bow down to the Tigers again.

I don't think they will bow down to a tiger, but they just might get beat by a tiger. I hate to say that because I'm not a tiger fan, but I can look at the situation and be honest.

I thought the same thing (about how they'd be affected losing those 3). But from everyone I've talked to and everything I've seen...they are going to be more than okay. Mack is the one factor that is irreplaceable, you can't replace his athletic ability on the field. My understanding is the other voids have been filled nicely. There were around 40 people on the team last year...all but 5 are back. Sims is impressive, I think he'll be due for a big year.

Did anyone hear about Triad's Colton Young breaking his hand? I heard this, and that he'd miss the first 3 or 4 weeks of the season...but I didn't have any confirmation. That could be big for Triad's playoff picture if true. Their first 4 games are far from a cake walk, excluding Riverside. Indian Lake (who will be good this year), Riverside, Fairbanks, Catholic Central.

I think this is all wls this year. There are a couple teams that could play with them scc and triad but that's it. The rest of the league is all about the same and that's bad. GV could be a sleeper with the burg's old coach but I think they're a year or two away. wls should make the playoffs but their region is a flat bear.imo.

WLS stomped Bellefontaine last night. 42-7 was the final. Bellefontaine is young, but improved and I think this is a good sign on just how good WLS is this year. This may be the year they can at least compete for 4 quarters (not a half like last year) with the MAC. Probably not going to beat them, but I think they can play with them for once.
