As we all know that it is a dead period for both Boys and Girls Basketball. The USA Sports Academy is going to be hosting their own 3 on 3 Back to School Basketball Tournament August 17th-19th. Age divisions are 8yrs - Adult. Cost is $80 per team. Feel free to to become fully registered at www.usasportsacademy.com.

"Effective the 2011-12 school year, there is no restriction on the number of players from any one school playing together in organized 3 on 3 tournaments. I certainly under the assumption that the USA Sports Academy’s 3 on 3 tournament is “Organized” (this language merely exist so coaches do not conduct 3 on 3 tournaments in their own gyms as a sidelight to an open gym format and work around our other off-season regulations).

School coaches are not permitted to coach players from their own school anytime outside the season of play except for 10 days during June and July. This regulation would prohibit school coaches from coaching players from their own school in your 3 on 3 tournament.
