Default Which meet in Central Ohio do teams try to make a statement? - 08-06-2012, 11:59 PM

Which Central Ohio meet in the fall does everyone think that teams try to run well at in order make a statement that they will be a factor in the postseason?

My pick would be Watkins. It is on the District course, usually well attended, and about 4 to 5 weeks before the various league meets. Timing wise, this would allow training to be adjusted also for the post season. Arguing against this meet however, is that it seems like it always falls on an ACT testing date, which could impact some of the junior and senior runners (and I think it would be hard to run well after taking an important test).

What does everybody else think?

I had several girls try to take the SAT. then run. One girl ran fine, the other two not so well.
