I think that you're more likely to see the SEC top vs B1G bottom feeders and Big top teams vs SEC bottom.
They play Vandy in a couple years. So you're right about saying it would be Big Ten's top and SEC's bottom.

Who says OSU won't check back up with Georgia and Tennesses and see if they could still work something out in non conference games? OSU plays a lot of marqee programs in the non-conference. The SEC has no right to get on OSU's non-conference schedule. When they go out to play Oklahoma, Texas, USC, or whatever, they can say something.

I'd like to osu keep 1 game against an in state school each year and then an sec or big12 school with cusa school and either acc or big east school for non conference games. Either way its better then playing the sun belt and so con for the NC games

Right, because Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss State, and Tennessee have been death row the past decade

But lets not get off topic. If you'd read the title of the thread, we're talking about OUT OF CONFERENCE games, not conference games. I'm not the one who brought up the SEC...one of the stereotypical SEC fanboys brought it up, and now of course since that argument's been shot down, you're resorting to the "our conference is soooo tough" fallback. Pathetic.

i'm not a fan of the sec but unlike yourself i will give them credit. the fact is their conference is tough so why make things things tougher when there is no need to. the bottom line is OSU nornally plays one decent out of conference game and the rest of the schedule is comprised ham and eggers and tomato cans.

They should play an elite SEC team in the Plowboys Classic.

I wouldnt mind seeing them play Alabama, LSU, Boise, USC, Oregon, Stanford, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma St, Florida , Florida State, Nebraska, . I think any of those schools would be a fun matchup to watch. But deff would like to see it later in the season, maybe around weeks 6 through 10.

Texas made for some great OOC games. I'd love to see another home/home with them.

Notre Dame would be at the top of my list. It would labeled as a HUGE showdown in this region of the college football landscape (much like the ND/Michigan game). The perception is that Notre Dame is still considered a quality win. But, the reality is you're playing the "name" these days. They still recruit very well but don't have consistent results to show for it. Win/Win for the Buckeye program if you schedule the Fighting Irish.
