They are believed to have been seen urinating between buildings in the vicinity of the Bogey Inn.

^Suspended from the team...seems harsh for a pee incident- if that is in fact what went on. When you're out past midnight, good things generally do not happen...

I hope he's kicked off the team as he's a jerk and not a proper ambassador for the university.

I don't know this guy. Obviously this was a bad decision. That said, I could have been arrested for something similar many times back in my earlier days, so I think I'd be unfair to say he should suffer horribly for this. A stupid decision that should be remidied by hard work in school and at practice.

I think that they will be reinstated to the team in the not to distant future, but will pay with a lot of extra hard work. There doesn't seem to be much to this story unless more comes out later and as the previos poster stated we've all done that (doesn't make it right) just sayin. A Notre Dame (Michael Floyd) type suspension, where you're only suspended during dead time time and reinstated for fall practice and games seems appropriate for this "crime".

I believe Stoneburners parents own a house on the golf course, not that it makes what he did right. He will have to face the music and the punishment that goes with it. But I believe both will be reinstated.....

We all have different opinions on how this indicent should be handled. My self, I do believe that suspensions are in order. Meyer has probably preached to this team countles times about behavior. The actions of Stoneburner and Mewhort are the same as "flipping the bird" at Meyer and saying I'll do what I want anyway.

My opinion is a two game suspension for both, with this exception. If Miller is injured during the suspensions by the lack of execution of a replacement LT then Mewhort is finished. If a TE replacement fails to execute in a major way and it cost OSU a win, then Stoneburner is also off the team.

I'm sure he won't be kicking his 'neighbor' off of the team. I liked the
gangsta-rap' comment! He acts like he lives in the 'hood.....WHY?

Reported on this evenings news.... Stoneburner and Mewhort had their scholly's yanked for the summer term. However they'll be "allowed" to return to the team in good standing..... So what? This is only a token punishment. Where's the penalty? So now they're walk-ons... until the fall term starts. I seriously doubt that neither of these guys will be impacted financially from this lame punishment. So little Jake gets to play some extra golf at Muirfield during the summer......

Most 'kids' arent 6'5", and 250 lbs. I'm sure the cops thought that they were 'men'....and should know better. I've done it....a lot. But, I also know that if I get caught....I have to pay the consequences. Pissing in a public setting is what occupants of third world countries do. Whether you AGREE with the law or not, is beside the point.

I hate to agree with creeksider, but I do in this case. Also, public urination offenders can--in some cases--be charged with indecent exposure and can lead to being a registered sex offender. As an employer, I have seen this happen 3 times over the years. Ruins a persons life forever.

The bull.... will continue until Meyer grows a pair and puts a stop to it. I would agree the crime doesn't seem too serious, however, with the tarnished image OSU already has, I would think that zero tolerance would be the mode of operation for the new coaching staff. That's not what I see here. Not sure how much either would be missed at this stage.

The garbage will continue until someone puts their foot down. And while I'm at it, why is Gene Smith still the AD???
