Am I missing something? Why is William Buford not being given a shot by any of the NBA teams?

He is playing for the Timberwolves summer team.

Guess that would be a tryout.

Read an article that said he performed poorly at the pre-draft stuff. His toughness was also questioned.

Yeah, he showed up 20 lbs over his OSU playing weight and was the slowest, most unathletic shooting guard there according to test results. I believe his commitment to BB was therefore in question .

The gap between major college and pro hoops is huge. Buford could shoot, but do little else in baskeball. Can't create his own shot, defend or handle the ball. Not suprised he's struggling.

He didn't even shoot that well this year.

Doesn't have the "fire" to compete at the highest levels. He has gotten by on his pure athletic ability thus far and that is not good enough for the NBA.
