In 2013 the Boro Blackhawks will join forces with team CUSTOM X. We will be the Custom X Blackhawks, and will be playing at Brandt Field in Downtown Springboro 2 miles from I-75. We are holding tryouts on July 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 to help fill our roster needs for 2013.

Team needs include:

Speed

Lead-off type hitter

Top of the rotation caliber pitching

Middle of the line-up bat

If your son fits this description and wants to play with an awesome group of kids and parents against some of the best competition in the Midwest, then you should consider joining us at our tryout. Since we moved from the Midwest Ohio League to the SWOL last year, we were asked to compete in the American Gold Division for our first season. If you review our teams schedule and results, you will see that we had a National League caliber schedule, and still achieved a 40 win season. Tournaments that we competed in this year included but were not limited to:

Ohio Heat Elite Invitational, SWOL Regional Championship (Tournament Champions), Wayne Williams Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Cincy Flames Classic, Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament.

We have consistently played a very difficult schedule so that our boys learn to compete, and 2013 will be no different.
