Default Ohio HS Insider: Standout sophomore QB transfers from Centerville to Wayne - 07-02-2012, 01:45 PM

According to multiple sources and his own Facebook page, former up-and-coming Centerville star Devin Reed has transferred to Wayne. That’s like leaving Ohio State for Michigan – and vice-versa.

Default Public's recruiting again - 07-02-2012, 09:24 PM

Where is the outrage? I heard but unfortunately cannot yet verify that they (Wayne's coaches) have been "recruiting" him since he was in fourth grade and I've heard that someone is actually paying his moving expenses and possibly/probably more than that....

Couldn't be moving to the Wayne school district for the academics ?

Must be something sinister here---usually the kids are moving "into" the Centerville school district (especially if they are interested in academics--and can swim like fish)

Well I guess we'll never know for "sure", but we can always guess at what looks to be the "obvious"---whether it is true or NOT!!!

Good luck young man...

^^^^ Probably because Wayne is a public school. If it was Alter I can just hear all the b****ing and moaning.

I watched Wayne get carved up by Kenton Saturday at the 7 on 7. I know that's Kenton's game but I think they scored every time they had the ball. And Wayne was not reciprocating. On offense, Wayne's issue was with catching the ball, not so much bad passes.

I'm surprised Trotwood-Madison wasn't in the running.

In reality, if the kid is an outstanding QB, why wouldn't he choose an offense like Wayne over Centerville? Granted he could've chosen a different school than Wayne as a rival. But if he wants to excel at passing and as a QB, he's not going to do that at Centerville.

Alter must have been asleep at the wheel and not recruited the kid!
