You state on another thread that you love Monie Jenkins from Reynoldsburg, yet she does not show up on your list. All she did last year was have an assist to turnover ratio of 4-1 (141-37), have 99 steals, and even finish 4th on the team in rebounding. I totally agree that Lampkins and Peterson belong on this list, but how did they do when Monie defended them? Lampkins got 2 points, and Peterson had 11, but was only 3-15 from the field. That, combined with an offensive game that is there when needed makes a consummate point guard to me. So who doesn't belong on your list? She knows how I care about her, but Shiloh would be the first to tell you she had an off year last year, so she wouldn't quite make the list, although she may very well return to her sophomore playing level this year. If anything last year, she tried to be too unselfish and passed up good looks at the basket. My other "removal" would come from either one of your city post players or Tajanee Wells. Tajanee is a nice guard, but the level of competition comes into play. As for Jasmine or Marley, Madison Blackwell from Gahanna has played better in games I've observed than either of them. Quality of competition again comes into question. What I've seen against good competition: Jasmine had one bad game and one decent game against Orange, and only scored 4 against Reynoldsburg. Marley had a good year at Africentric, and I have no doubt she has gotten better, but in 4 games against Reynoldsburg during her two years at Pick-Central, she avaeraged 4 per game. Again, my opinion on your post just based on what I've personally seen. Certainly a good senior class in Central Ohio, however.

I think if you asked the coaches who is the toughest to prepare for when it comes to Reynoldsburg, Monie would top the list. She is a nightmare for opposing guards.

3dogs, I do like jenkins, but I don't think she is better than peterson, lampkins, and agler. She is not way off, by any stretch! If they played one-on-one, I think she will lose to all 3. Madison is a good player, but to me, weatherspoon and hill have better motors than her. Bess is also a good player that did not make the list. Taj Wells is eastmoor academy, without her the last two years, eastmoor is easily terrible. Put her on any team like reynoldsburg, or northland(teams with basketball talent like she does this year), she can help a team win the state. You are right, a great class of lady basketball players.

about 50 percent of what always learning posts is correct. One example is Butcher's state titles. He has won 6 state titles not 5. I don't know where always learning gets their facts.

Obviously didn't get them from me, because I quoted the facts about what these girls had done, INCLUDING face-to-face, and all I'm hearing in return are opinions.

3Dog is right on. I've had the pleasure of watching Jenkins play against the best in the Columbus, in Ohio and on the national level and she has bested all other point guards she has played against with the exception of the Twinsburg pg. Night in and night out she is solid on both ends of the court. Peterson is a nice player but was completely stymied by Jenkins. She may be the key piece on a loaded Rburg team. Always Learning needs to do his factual homework, not just state opinions.

I said it is my opinion if you look clearly and thanks for the feedback. I apologized long ago about the mistake with butcher. One hec of a coach! Sorry! Im not perfect or claim to be, I just post what I hear and the majority is true which is 2/3's, vinnyad37(by the way how are you doing?) My mistake, I forgot miss dulling, I think she is at new albany, a transfer from licking heights. She will replace Jasmine weatherspoon on the list. Happy guys, sorry, no jenkins just yet! So why are you guys not impressed with Peterson? 1st team all-state selection, put her on any horrible team, and she will make them 500 or better. Can jenkins do that? Shed me some insight please? 3dogs, you are good on the stats but that is your job right? In that case, you should know! BTW, jenkins has good stats, so it might be her year too, to win it all, just like anybody else who has good stats.

Know one said anything about Peterson not being in top ten she is no.1 on my list. But weatherspoon and hill that is were you lose me. Spoon might have breakout year if she is fed ball , but you can't base your opinion from last year and put her in top ten.

bbaau....Thanks for clarifying what I said. Alexis definitely belongs on this list, but judging by Face-to-Face competition, I simply was saying that Monie should be there, too. The other two you mention were ones I also questioned based on their performance when I've seen them play. I like both of them, but they have not come up big when they have faced top level competition, so I wouldn't put them in this Top 10.

A top ten list that leaves off Jenkins is not a serious list. She is the MVP of a loaded Raider team IMO.

Scoring is not the only indicator of a great player. Jenkins doesn't have to score 20 a game, she just has to get the ball to others and lock down the opposing guard. She does both VERY well.

Sorry if I misunderstood you great fellows! You are right, the burg is loaded, can't put everybody in the top 10on reynoldsburg's team and nobody answered me about if you put peterson on a lame team and jenkins on a lame team, what team will be better? Peterson is a complete player, she can do more than just score, she plays defense and manages her squad

That's not really a fair question because I don't think anyone in their right mind would not have Peterson in their top ten.

I agree that you can't put the entire Raider team on the list but I would have to agree with 3dog that Jenkins should be in over Shiloh.

Ok, we might be on to something, because I looked at there over-all games and most people would pick shiloh because of her height, but shiloh can play. They are both going to play college ball, but I think shiloh will go to a bigger school. And thanks for the opinions, I knew this would be a good topic to talk about

Who would you replace her with? She is good, but I don't see her in the top 10
