The Golden Bear ladies notched their 8th consecutive State team swimming title this weekend, bringing the UA athletic program's state championship count to 122. The UA boys finished a respectable 2nd place.

GO BEARS!!!

Echo that Moose! The girls continued their domination and the boys are BACK! They've completed their return to power and now have St. Xavier in their sights. Well done Bears. Congratulations to the top high school program in the state.

Congratulations to UA they had a great state meet. The girls continued their streak and the boys exceeded expectations. They have every reason to be very proud.

UA did have a great state meet. The boys did exceed expectations, but it took some help from StF for them to finish second. Without the DQ of StF's 200 Free Relay, UA finishes 3rd where they were projected to be.

Give an assist to Centerville as well. They touched St. Francis out in the 400 Free Relay which gave UA second place in the meet.

Third, as usual Ralph, you have overstated things. Yes, UA boys are back in power, but no, St.X is not within reach. In fact, although UA will win the Central District next year and finish in the top 5 at the state meet; it seems unlikely that they will repeat as runner up. So if St.X is in their sights, it's only that UA can see them widening the gap. I don't see anyone knocking off X in the next few years.
