Thoughts on the Spring game?

I thought it was pretty bland for the most part. Though, I have heard a lot opposed, I agreed with the very limited amount of snaps for Denard. 1. He is our playmaker, why risk injury. 2. Get Gardner and Bellomy as many snaps as possible. Fitz didn't get many carries either but boy I sure did think he looked good. Made some very good cuts. I think WR could be an issue, but Gallon looked impressive. Roundtree didnt see many throws, but I think will be our #1, plus Gardner was scrambling a lot which limited the potential catches for the WR's. I thought the D looked pretty good. Jabreel Black and Craig Roh will have huge years, imo. Rawls looks like a sledgehammer of a RB, with a little burst added in. Two impressive TD runs. One showed vision and burst the other was all power and will. Countess and the rest of the young secondary with Wilson and Hollowell looks like we will be good on the backend in the near future. Wile was impressive in the kicking duties, while Gibbons shanking the 26 yarder and seeing him afterwards makes me wonder if he has been partying like a rock star since his game winning kick in the Sugar Bowl. Overall, I think the D won the day, but with Denard barely seeing the field and Borges was pretty bland with the playcalling I guess the D looking good should be expected. Sad that there is no footall until fall camp starts in August, but I am very excited for team 133 and can't wait for the season to start vs. Bama. GO BLUE!!

I was just stating that I cant wait for the opener to get the new season started. Bama will be a heavy favorite, but I think Michigan will play them tougher than most expect. Though, I think Bama still has too much talent for them right now.

I ever like to take alot away from the spring game because you will have some good and some not so good. I agree with not risking Denard or Fitz because they are the playmakers.

The middle of the defense needs to be tougher but again there is time to improve. I expect big yrs from Roh and Black. Campbell has to come up with a big yr as well as Countess.

Some of the young players have looked good and could fight for playing time plus we will have to see if any incoming freshmen fight for playing time.

Finally it will be an exciting year but the schedule is much tougher but team 133 will fight hard and it will fun to watch.

I have a feeling that if they can beat Alabama (which I hope they do), they won't lose a game. The worst they'll do is win 9 games.

Hawthorne was the best athlete on the field. He is a football player, no doubt....this objective look brought to you by an Ohio State fan! Where were all of the fans? I thought Brady and his boys had a lot of dedicated followers?
