Default Coach J. Mick - 11-06-2011, 10:09 AM

Schools looking to change their program. let me tell you what name to be aware of. Coach John Mick....from all i know about him he is a Manchester graduate who transferred from Northwest, he led their team to a state championship runner up. he joined the navy and was there for around 10 years. he is a Jim France type guy, no nonsense military guy but a players coach. players want to play for him. he was an assistant at akron coventry this year and their program went from..lets just say in the dumps, to a .500 season. i know he was the special teams coordinator along with defensive backs coach. I dont know if he has told Coventry he is coming back or not. but it would be worth it to go after him. i know some people at coventry and they want him back. i also know some schools in the NE Ohio area who could use a military guy who is very knowledgable about the game and takes care of his players. do it soon....mark my words...next Jim France.
