Neither can any of the other ladies pretending to be the defense! A hit is not a tackle. They suffer from the delusion that they are made of something besides cotton candy and their mere contact will send the runner to the turf. They are sissies, incapable of defending a nursing home team. Kelly ought to devote a little time teaching them the fundamentals of defense--if he is aware of any!
p.s. better clock management might have resulted in the ladies winning it in regulation, but mother goose decided to forego the chance by letting the clock run out. He forgot that MSU players have some heart and unlike the old nuns, are capable of making a play when they have to.

i hope you guys watched the stanford game this week.......21 tackles? and knocked the crap out of the running back. he is the only player on our defense that plays like he wants to win and represent Notre Dame! (FYI he leads the counrty in tackles!) i dont know what you guys are talking about here maybe besides the one hit he put on bell during the michigan state game on 3 and 11 and missed.
NapRover- i think this defense is much better than it was with weis. if your saying they are awful at tackling then what would we call the tackling of weis's teams? yes they still arent great but with weis this team would still be 1-3 but would've lost all the games by more

The kid is a stud. Diaco's concern is the young man plays or gets himself out of position at times. This maybe due to the facts he has played all his life with so much God given talent, is in a new system and a true sophmore.
