Location: Defiance High School located off of Rt. 66 in Defiance, Ohio.
Age & Eligibility: Age as of 3/20/08. If you are challenged you will need a birth certificate for proof.
Weigh-ins: Saturday March 20th between 7:30-8:30 at Defiance High School. (Biddy Club Coaches can call weights in at
discretion of Director)
Wrestling: Begins at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until completion.
Rules: Modified High School Rules. 2- 11/2 minute period. No Referees position. Out of bounds or lack of activity will result in
neutral start. 10-pt tech fall. 1 minute sudden death OT. Officials calls will be final. Weight classes may be
modified/combined the day of the tournament due to lack of wrestlers in a weight class or age group.
ELITE and NOVICE divisions will be used this year. You must select one of these. If there are enough entries per
division, the weight classes will be separated into elite and novice brackets. If there are not enough entries, elite and
novice will be grouped into one bracket. If you normally place in the top three at tournaments you are considered elite
Admission: Adults $5 Students $3 Family $10
Entry Fee: Pre-registration $14 if post marked by March 14th. The cost is $17 after March 14th. Limited to the first 400
wrestlers. Make checks payable to Defiance High School.
