Having looked at them this past week I would say they are in a good position to make a run this year. Some of the new starters are looking very impressive.

I don't think it would be a good idea to expand on the starters at this point because it obviously is not firmed up but the one you mentioned is with the first team.

Qball, the word I am getting is there is a lot more rotation this year for two-a-days but when the true starters are asked for the same 5 guys are on the line. I think there might be a lot of confusion due to the Offensive starters doing more scout team against the 2nd team/freshmen. This is something that is way different from last year.

But as always there could be a little jealousy out there. Either way we are all going to know real soon.

Somehow I think you misunderstand the word sorry, as a word that should be used in front of sarcasm.

I am sure coaches don't waste their time on the forums. I am sure there are a lot of people who could fill you in on exactly what is happening.
Like I said before I don't think it's proper to express comments at this point.
I expressed what I observed and that is all!

I think the team is strong. I think the OL is really the one area that still has a lot of question. I think that Place, Spauer, Foppe are a for sure. I think that a sophmore will start on the OL and the other spot is up for ????? Some say that Suttman will move down and Hart will play tight end others say they will move some players over from defense - I think only time will tell.

Region 12 has a lot of (on paper) strong teams...I look for Shawnee, Thrigood M, and maybe Alter to emerge late this Fall. Weeks one and two will paint a much better picture...
