Default PPP's Final Wisconsin Poll Shows Scott Walker Edging Tom Barrett - 05-31-2012, 08:05 AM

Walker up by 7 in latest Wisconsin poll. I chose the MSNBC site for this poll as it's the stated place for progressives to go for their news.

Of course, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has flown in to help the Democrat. Way to go Debbie!!!!

Great.

It is also VERY telling that obama has been effectively asked to stay away. It will be awesome to see WI go red this November.

obama hasn't been asked to stay away. clinton moves in tomorrow.

a better word choice for you would have been 'unlikely,' rather than, 'awesome.'

here is a list of the current polls, and even rassmussen has obama +4.... haha.

also, from the same poll Utley cited:

05/23/2012 -
05/26/2012 Marquette Law… Obama 52.0 Romney 40.0

have a special day!

Hang in there sport. After Tuesday we'll revisit Wisconsin with some exit polling data that you ain't gonna like!

Speaking of Rassmussen, if he's accurate up there, what do you make of a couple other of his state polls? :)

Ohio -- Romney 46%, Obama 44%

Indiana -- Romney 48%, Obama 42%

North Carolina -- Romney 51%, Obama 43%

We'll give you Wisconsin if we can have the other 3. ;)

Currently, Obama is being shown with 270 electoral votes, not counting ANY of the above. I am pretty sure Romney will get Indiana and N. Carolina, but fairly confident Ohio will eventually stay with Obama, influenced greatly by the fact that Mandel is such a poor candidate for Senator.

Bethere,
for your reading pleasure:

The Bureau of Labor Statistics agreed that reforms put in place by Gov. Scott Walker (R) and the Wisconsin legislature have resulted in a net gain of 23,000 jobs. This has been a major focus of the unions and Progressives who are looking to recall Walker since he instituted Act 10, which curtailed the ability of public employee unions to engage in collective bargaining. In addition to the jobs increase, Wisconsin has eliminated its $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes, and is currently enjoying a $150 million surplus.

It should not be about the party...you should vote for the person or people that get the job done and it looks like in Wisco the current folks in power are getting the job done!

It ain't over till it's over and the fat lady is currently only warming up. I'm not going to hold my breath. There are still a lot of dead people votes to be counted and probable law suits to be litigated. This may drag out a while, unless of course the vote goes big in favor of one way or another.

This will be a massive face plant for the Democrats, and will set the stage for a difficult summer.

My thoughts exactly. Any liberal discounting the inevitable results has their head in the sand. The propaganda war they waged actually had me believing Wisconsin was beyond hope. Cheers to the cheese heads! Welcome back folks. You are now part of the new 'thousand points of light!' :)

I think that Romney gets Ohio. The rurals will come out BIG TIME for Romney like we did in 04 and there'll be no buzz in the urbans to get the vote out. Moreover, Brunner is gone so we don't have to worry about "irregular" votes in Cuyahoga County like we did last time. Ohio goes red.

I saw the poll that had Walker and his challenger was in a dead heat...like 50-48 in favor of Walker...Walker is spending a lot of money to keep himself in the governors office, and the democrats really thought that the recall would go their way without work.

I think everyone figured Indiana would go republican...North Carolina is predicted to go red in november anyhow. I saw some polls where Obama is leading in Ohio within the margin of error. It is a dead heat in ohio...it will be tight in November.

Even if Romney takes those 3, he still must have Florida, and with his popularity among Hispanic voters not very good, that will be a huge test for Romney.

While I don't think Walker is a particularly good gov, I am happy to see the Democrats plan blow up right in there face.

Im sure Ed Schultz will probably have a heart attack on his show if Walker wins.

^^^ you are correct, never discount tens of millions of dollars from corrupt union machines, nor the misguided hysteria of certain public sector employees.

It should also be noted that since Walker instituted his reforms, including mandating that union dues must be individually given to the union by public service union members rather than automatically deducted from their paychecks, union membership in the largest Wisconsin public service union has fallen more than 50%.
