The UN is nothing more than a band of circus clowns. They hate the US and its power. They hate Israel. I think the UN needs to focus on stopping its peacekeepers from raping children and eliminating the massive amounts of corruption found inside their ranks. I for one would not loose a bit of sleep if this US pulled out.

Not really. The British Officers that took this action were born, raised and militarily trained in England. The men that made up the army were all British. The people that were to made up the first Americans nearly twenty years in the future were used primarily as militia.
