Found the below links to Fairfields team page on Cincinnati.com and the article on their semifinal win over Withrow and regional final win vs Middletown.

Sounds like the Indians get good production from the guard position. The Indians, like the Tigers, are making their first trip to the Final four.

Per the JJ Preview, looks like Fairfield plays a 3 guard set. Seems Defense may be one of the Indians strong suits.

Let's go Tigers!!!

I hope someone else joins in on this thread, beginning to feel like I didn't shower. Ha

I have only seen the Tigers once this season, so take what you will. I feel like the length of the Tiger players will cause some trouble for Fairfield. I feel like as long as the Tigers stick to their game, they should come out with the W...

I went / live in Middletown so would have preferred the game with Fairfield went another way...oh well. I will now pull for the Indians as I always pull for the GMC teams. Per the OHSAA site , Fairfield is the largest school in the state , with something like 1200+ boys enrolled.

I live in Kettering and we played Fairfield in game one......I know a LONG TIME AGO! They had a kid (I think Jeff Wood) who just killed us.....very solid ball handling and good guard play.......does PC press or play half court D

From the preview, sounds like Wood comes off the bench to score steadily.

Fairfield is Senior laden while Central has some youth on the court with Jrs and sophs contributing.

Central plays mostly half court D but they are very quick and pressure the ball consistently.

Go Tigers!!!

Are tickets available locally for tomorrow's game?

They did a sale after the game but per the AD, Ticket sales at the school from 9 am to noon at the school. Spread the Word and Lets support the Tigers!!!

Reserve seating plus General Admission for the Student Section. All tickets $8.

Lets Go Tigers!!! Beat Whitmer!!!!

Need the Students to get behind the team. A decent showing but with the Lax team out of town and the play going on at school, that took many away from the game.

They may have been smaller in numbers than the Fairfield student section but they were a lively bunch. Great Job to those who could make it!!

Hats off to Fairfield for a great season. It was a tightly contested game through three quarters with the Tigers pulling away at the end. Early foul trouble plauged the Indians. Per one Fairfield backer on the way out, they abandoned their typical zone D for Man to man early which led to more fouls. The Tigers built a 10 pt lead at one point in the first half with the Indians knocking it down to 5 pt margin at half 29 - 24.

The Tigers expanded the lead to 7 at the end of three 42 - 35. Caris Levert was held in check and started adding key baskets in the fourth quarter to widen the margin.

Great Win for the Tigers!! Go for the Gold!!!

I had a feeling the length / height of the Tigers would play a role, and it did (lucky guess). I thought Fairfield was lucky to be within 15 really. There were a lot of long rebounds for the noticeably smaller Indian squad. A big shout out to Fairfield supporters... they were present with MANY numbers!!!! Probably outnumbered Central fans 3-1 (especially in the student section) ... probably only 100 +- 20 students for central at the game today (a bit embarrassing b/c of the proximity to the schott...)

Can't wait for tomorrow's game!!

As I stated, the Central High School students had much going on this weekend. Lax team out of town (returning in time for the game tonight) the Track teams had the Hammond Relays this morning so the Track Athletes may have been home and the school production of the Sound of Music was going on. Other than the play tonight, the Central student support should be better tonight.

We have to remember also that Fairfield is about twice the size of Central.

No matter how large or small the numbers, let's get behind our boys.
