Default Thoughts On The Ohio State Game - 11-05-2011, 03:15 PM

Are you kidding me! The offensive game plan was different from last week. The pistol was used great last week. But ohh Bollman wanted to try something else.
GOD!

As for the passing game... What about slants, or crossing cross the middle? IU did that GREAT today!

The LBs like I have said all year are SLOW! The secondary is a work in progress.

Shame on Luke for not having this team up and ready for IU.

Ohio State fans are very very spoiled. They win, and they still complain. Spoiled.

Agreed

Be happy that you escaped with a win that you had to work for. You are quietly turning your season around and are still in the hunt for the division title.

Props go to the Hoosiers; They play all those Freshmen [it seemed like half of them were from Ohio] and thier offense looks good when they grow up on defense they will be competetive.

At least you don't have an ex coach that set your program back 10-12 yrs with his inflated ego! Michigan will not be a serious contender again until 2014.

How could you not expect a let down against an inferior opponent after last weeks game? No big deal

This was an extended practice. Nothing more nothing less. OSU could've ran for 600 yards today if they wanted to today. They tried some other things, some worked some didn't. My only complaint was the defense couldn't get off the field on 3 down.

Couldn't have been said better. This really wasnt a close game regardless of the score most of the game. Wish the defense would have been more solid, but that offense is a pain to defend against. On to the next.

I guess some people think that the more you try and convince us that Jim Bollman is the problem and that Tressel covered for him for years is proof that Luke Fickell should not back as the Buckeye Coach next season. This is somewhat faulty logic as we watch the Bucks win a game and go to 6-3 over-all and 3-2 in the Division. They are one game behind now and have a chance to be playing for the Conference Championship after all the problems that Luke had to deal with are being faced, one by one, and Luke is winning the battles now. I have a feeling that the results of this jj "poll" is the same as the results of other "polls" that are taken periodically on here. If we had believed the majority opinion expressed on jj concerning the 2008 election, it would have ended in a Republican victory. Now we are waiting to see what happens to Luke Fickell and it will be interesting to see what happens. It will be even more interesting if they actually do the wrong thing and fail to bring Luke Fickell back for another season, with all the recruits in the line-up and the Buckeye players fired up about having him back. What I would like to see is a collective opinion from the players about what should be done. I'll bet I know what they would want. I think we should listen to the guys who have been battling hard for Luke and winning the war that was not going so well in the beginning.

They won, and three players rush for 100+ yards. Mr. Hyde returns to the line up! Was Hall injured?

I fished all day. Wish I had half as much success as the Buckeyes did....

Good Luck Big Blue and all OVAC football teams!

Nebraska, Michigan and Michigan State all lost to "inferior" teams today. At least the Buckeyes did what they needed to do to win. 3 runners over 100 yards, I'll take that anytime.

I hope we have seen the last of Jordan Hall playing ahead of Hyde.

Michigan State won. I give props to Indiana, they came to play. Anyone that says this wasn't a close game wasn't paying attention. I was annoyed that the defense didn't play better, but the Hoosiers had alot to do with that. Give that team a couple of years, and watch out(I know, it's Indiana).

regardless of whether they keep fickell or not, you have to give him credit for keeping the team together unitl the 5 suspended players came back. this could have very easily been a lost season with all the distractions and other problems. i know that a 6-3 season isn't what buckeye fans are accustomed to seeing , but is sure beats 1-8 like indiana is. i was beginning to think that the defense must of stayed back in the dorms.
