Red face Break it Down for Ursuline - 10-21-2011, 10:43 PM

Ursuline 3-6 I big win over mooney should get them closer to the playoffs.Beating akron st v you would think that would be enough. But hardly understand the computer point system.to go 4-6 with that schedule(wow.}Can someone shed some light on what needs to happen.I seen that rootstown lost. The banged up southern team could loose at sebring.

My Calculations have Ursuline finishing with 13.9921. I think that they will NOT make it. I see 8 or 9 teams ahead of them. Of course next Friday's games could produce some upsets! Unlikely in my opinion of each of the teams opponents.

Zanesville losing to Cambridge and New Philadelphia definitely hurt Ursuline's chances.

Columbiana will still get more points than Ursuline.
Springfield Local could easily get in with the Win over Columbiana.
Southern will not lose to Sebring. JMO
Kirtland is IN
Munroe Central is IN
Crestview is IN
Campbell Memorial is IN
Garaway, Barnesville and Cuyahoga Hts.(3) have a very good chance of finishing above14.0
Aquinas - maybe

WOW - Thats 10 Teams IMO and my calculations that stay ahead of Ursuline

Playoffs were friday night and got the W. This game was labeled as a "payback" game. For what? Is it because Ursuline won last year? O don't get it. The staff at Ursuline did a great job bringing the kids together and playing almost mistake free. Playoffs or not this was a big win for the irish.

Called a payback game for running it up late last year against mooney.... If i were any team in Ohio i would not wanna play either of these 2 schools ever... I guarentee you Ed's doesnt wanna play either team again.

I hope UHS makes it in, would be a shame to see a team not get in because they played one of the toughest schedules in Ohio.

Actually the Irish can end up at 14:09 because JoeEitel shows the divisor at 95, instead of 96 which puts them up .10 point.

I hope Ursuline gets in. I guess we have to wait and see what other teams do. It does seem more likely that Ursuline will not make it but you never know.

So much hate.... I'd still rather see the Irish in the postseason. If they finish on the outside looking in, this will be looked back on as a season of 'what ifs'. Great win last night though.

It doesn't look good for the Irish, even with another win. The schedule was a just a little bit too ambitious.
