This Fall we are pleased to announce that the Ohio National Guard, Bucknuts and JJHuddle have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in Football, Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Cross Country, Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Boys & Girls Golf.

Each week during the fall sports seasons (regular and post), we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive awards.

There will also be Player & Team of the Year voting in each sport at the conclusion of the respective seasons.

So happy to see Millersport racking up the wins. You all play Berne Union next week and in my opinion will have a 5-0 record. Truly a great story, wish I could get out to a game because the atmosphere...

Just because it's not Coldwater or Marion Local doesn't mean they can't score. I love the Riders don't get me wrong but tonight the Eagles came to Kile Field sick and tired of taking a beating so they...

  • Movie "TOUCHBACK" set in Coldwater

Scott Murphy feels what many ex-football players feel. He also feels what almost every other human feels: regret.

And so begins a tale of football and life in the Midwest set in Mercer County. The new movie “Touchback” was released in select markets around the country last weekend, including Columbus and Cleveland in Ohio. It becomes the first movie ever to show a scene of a packed Ohio Stadium.

“Touchback” takes place in Coldwater, Ohio (though a fictionalized version of Coldwater)
