National Guard, Bucknuts to Sponsor Weekly JJHuddle Fall Sports Player & Team of the Week Awards

This Fall we are pleased to announce that the Ohio National Guard, Bucknuts and JJHuddle have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in Football, Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Cross Country, Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Boys & Girls Golf.

Each week during the fall sports seasons (regular and post), we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive awards.

There will also be Player & Team of the Year voting in each sport at the conclusion of the respective seasons.

How it works?

Right now, it looks like Fort Recovery is first in Region 26 on computer points. Marion Local is second. I think the big win for the Fort may be the Jay County win. Every time Jay County wins, the...

Well what's everyone's thoughts on next year? Genoa and Eastwood again or will Lake join them? Another thing I wanted to bring up is the changes in divisions with the new addition of the 7th division for 2013

Eastwood, Rossford, Otsego will be in D4 with local notables Oak Harbor, Kenton, Bryan, Wauseon, Napoleon and Bellevue

Lake, Genoa, Fostoria will be D5 with local notables Liberty Benton, Liberty Center, Archbold and Huron in the same region

Woodmore, Elmwood will be in D6 with local notables Hicksville, Northwood, Ottawa Hills, Tinora, Ada, Patrick Henry, Lima CC, Coldwater

This will definitely make things very interesting for the upcoming seasons after this season. Hopefully we can get at least one more Genoa/Eastwood playoff game as well
