Great match-up. Too early to predict this one. Gotta give it some serious thought. Zanesville was more than impressive tonight.

A comment that shows you have no idea what you are talking about, name the last time this class of players has lost a game by more than 3 points?

You can't compare NA/ Kilbourne result and the Zanesville/Kilbourne result. It was a different time, different circumstances, different pressures being faced. Hats off to NA for getting to this point. They were the Titanic with a big gash in the side and managed to patch things up and keep it afloat. Not many programs could overcome what they have this season.

I heard this game was either at Gahanna or Reynoldsburg, either way that is 5 or 15 minutes down the road for the Eagles, I live smack dab in the middle, I am most likely going to this game.

Only because Newark (which is probably the state's largest school not to have it) doesn't have field turf. Maybe one day they will get in the 21st century. And win more than one game a year.

This is gonna be a good matchup. Many people overlook zanesville's D who had been lights out lately. They have not allowed a point in 4 weeks and came up with 5 turnovers on Friday night. NA is a great team and that loss to Kilbourne has no factor on how the game is going to be on Friday. I'm hoping for a great game all around and hopefully my blue devils can move on to FINAL 4!

I think this is what I was most surprised about last night's score...Not really surprised Zanesville put up points (obviously), but the fact that they shut out Kilbourne.

I do think that New Albany has the athletes to match up with Zanesville somewhat, but how can anyone not tab Zanesville as the favorite at this point? They've posted 4 straight shut outs and two of them were against pretty darn good competition (St. Charles & Kilbourne).

Very impressive win for ZV last night. Hopefully NA will be able to keep it close. That will be a tall task for NA. NA will battle as best they can, you can be sure of that. Kilbourne looked god awful last night for what ever reason. Maybe ZV is just that good. If they are it will be a long night for NA.

oldfart67, That doesn't sound like you. your usually a little more classy. NA had something like 350 yards rushing to 5 for Mansfield. Maybe NA deserves at least a little bit of respect from the losing team. Anyway congrats on a fine season. Someone has to win and someone has to lose and in this case your Tygers came up on the short end. It was a great HS football game. Good Luck next year.

Once again, the Tyger fans have total respect for NA and wish them well. The big RB was a beast! He was the difference. A pass here or there could have been the difference for us tho, too. Good luck vs Z. Remember, OF is MADISON.

I think this game will be closer to the Columbus area. It will have a HUGE crowd I would imagine. Now on to the game. I think Zanesville wins this game by 10, I think New Albany has a few athletes to run with the Blue Devils, but I will question if they can consistently have 6 or 7 athletes with very good speed on defense at one time. If NA wants to run the ball, Zanesville will welcome that with open arms and it will get ugly. Personally I think the Blue Devil defense makes this team go. Just my opinion though. Good luck to both teams
