This Fall we are pleased to announce that the Ohio National Guard, Bucknuts and JJHuddle have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in Football, Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Cross Country, Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Boys & Girls Golf.

Each week during the fall sports seasons (regular and post), we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive awards.

There will also be Player & Team of the Year voting in each sport at the conclusion of the respective seasons.

Reply to New Albany and the Burg....WOW!
New Albany lost 30+ seniors and returned just one on offense. Their Div.1 signee was out on defense along with another starter. For them to come out on the road and pull this one out is a great coaching...

The mercy rule worked well but it does limit the snaps for the back ups with 73 on our roster the coaches were working hard getting the kids in. No starters played in the 2nd half

With this weather we should be getting some scrimmages in. How about results.

We don't keep score during scrimmages, but Lexington has played Lucas and Col. Crawford and did well.

            Lakewood 7
            Northridge 3

Lakewood's left hander pitcher looked very good as did their defense.

They had started a second game but I did not stick around for it.

Northridge looked like they had some talent.

Their shortstop seemed to be their vocal leader.

Took in the scrimmage between Lakewood and Millersport.

The Lancers looked very good today as they were up 20-0 when they turned the scoreboard off.

Lakewood's lefty pitcher was good again today as was their defense.
About the only thing they seemed to have a little trouble with was base running, but that lasted only one inning.

For the Lakers their centerfielder, shortstop and first baseman all lokked decent in the field.

After the scoreboard was turned off they played two more innings and when it was over the two teams tied at, 2.

Lakewood threw #8 during this time and she looked pretty good on the mound.

I, as well as others, don't base my teams performance on our scrimmage scores.
