National Guard, Bucknuts to Sponsor Weekly JJHuddle Fall Sports Player & Team of the Week Awards

This Fall we are pleased to announce that the Ohio National Guard, Bucknuts and JJHuddle have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in Football, Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Cross Country, Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Boys & Girls Golf.

Each week during the fall sports seasons (regular and post), we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive awards.

There will also be Player & Team of the Year voting in each sport at the conclusion of the respective seasons.

How it works?

Game day! lets go Cats! one down, one play, one quarter at a time, they are going to really have to work for the wins this year, I definitely believe we have the talent to do it!

I think Ready will have their hands full with an improved Whitehall team....otherwise I agree......Hartley has scheduled an opponent that just won the MI state championship, so the opponent will either...

According to the local paper, Meadowbrook is 18-5 and 6-4 in the league. Cambridge is 6-13 and I am not sure of their ECOL record.

        Thanks equus....

RV just picked up a 20-0 non-league win over West Holmes last night to improve to 19-3.

Meadowbrook beat Coshocton 12-0 tonight. Colts play Buckeye Local for OVAC 4A title tomorrow.

            Good luck Colts!

RV and NP would not meet until Regional Semi-Finals if they both continue to win.

RV has a tough Sectional opener facing Tri-Valley. RV defeated the Lady 'Dawgs earlier in the season but T-V did not throw their ace and Spang did not have a very good game as she was hampered by her shoulder injury. If the Lady Bears survive that game they would most likely have to face John Glenn, RV's only loss last season. Districts don't get much easier with Philo or Meadowbrook as the favorites out of the Philo Sectional for a one game District.

NP would have to get by Dover and I believe Edison would be one of the top teams from the other Sectional that NP might have to face in a one game District to advance to the Regional Semi's.

I think Try-Valley and John Glenn will end up squaring off together .If a coach does the proper scouting,...RVs defense can be exploited . They have a bunch of quality ball players on that team , but if it gets tight in a pitchers duel ..an the opponent keeps the pressure on ,.... they could be in trouble .
