Gasoline is $3.78/gal here in NW Columbus. Not much of a correction, eh? :)

I haven't seen drops. You think it would, but not yet.

When gasoline goes below $3.30 then I will say it's dropped.

We bought gas in Cincinnati yesterday for $3.48, but still find most places $3.74 to $3.79. Now watch gas take a jump up for the holiday, there is no price gouging .

Despite the drop in crude prices, gasoline prices have recently risen in California. Until the situation in Iran is resolved, we're probably going to see swings in the price, although I personally doubt that $5 gas is on the horizon, especially here in the midwest. Demand is slack, both our economy and China's are falling short of expectations and the turmoil in Europe has reduced demand even further. Our strategic reserve is but a tiny piece of the world picture and I believe we should never touch a drop of it for a "feel good", short term drop in prices at the pump. That reserve is to protect our butts in the event of a worldwide disruption. It's not for you or I, it's for the military. Leave it alone! (Pretty harsh for a Sunday, sorry!) :)

My wife works out your way...on Rt. 18...and we often find the gas prices on the west side are $.10 to $.20 cents higher than on the east side. We are very close to a major terminal where I live, and I often wonder if the delivery costs are that much lower to account for it.

The guys buying fuel from the terminals check to see who's got the lowest fuel cost. My brother drove (a liquid bomb) for a local outfit. One day they're driving to Dayton to load and the next day they're headed to Lima or Toledo. They've got the system figured out, even if it doesn't seem to make sense to you and I.
