How long will the current league stay together? I suspect the noise for Orrville leaving will get stronger over the next year or so. They are the smallest school and don't seemed to returning to Division II anytime soon. I know a lot people in the Clear Fork area would rather be in another league as least for basketball. But the Colts probably will stay unless another opening comes up. West Holmes turned down the ECOL a few years ago but if a new league forms with Orrville and Triway would they want to be a part of that as well.
If there are new openings for the OCC who would fill them? Shelby? Ontario? Marion Harding would jump at the chance but Wooster would probably not want to go that far. Or course Wooster may want to stay in the East with Orrville.
It should be interesting. I like this league but i can see changes ahead.

I can see this as well. West Holmes, Triway, Orrville, and Northwest would be the beginnings of a pretty good league. Who else will follow...Wooster...Cloverleaf...Manchester...Dover ...New Philly? Any takers? I still think the best way to do this would be to make the OCC into 2 six-team divisions.
East: Wooster, Cloverleaf, Orrville, Northwest, Triway, West Holmes
West: Madison, Senior, Ashland, Lex, Clearfork, ???

Should there be an opening in the OCC... here's a given-- Shelby's not interested. They had no desire when the OCC was looking at Shelby and Triway a few years back and the thinking in Whippetland hasn't changed.

i would like to see the league add 4 school and go to two divisons and become a super conference. divisions would not be big and small but 6 schools close together and the other 6 close together
