The sports programs at St. Francis is at an all time low and has been for years . Expect for swimming and hockey , which there is great parent involvement , every other sport , I fell is being deemphaised by the President all the way down to the Athletic directors. Who wants to send their sons to a school for sports who continuoulsy hires midiocre coaches then fires them when they had a chance to hire top notch coaches from the start. Who wants to send their sons to a school who lets good coaches go when they had a winning record at their sport.I feel that this will come to haunt the school with enrollment in the future, which it already has.Who is running the programs over their? Shouldn't they be held accountable for the mess that they created? What is going on over there?

The football and basketball programs are certainly way down. But the rest of your generalization is way off. SF has excellent programs for baseball, cross country (actually arguably the best program in the area), golf, tennis, soccer, water polo, crew and lacrosse. You mentioned hockey and swimming which are among the best in the area also.
With that said SF needs to correct the direction of the football and basketball programs.
In the end SF will hopefuly always value the education students receive more than athletic success. That part to me seems to be a real difference between SF and other schools.

They need to give him a chance. Too many changes for football and basketball will be detrimental. Can't coach if you are always lookling over your shoulder
