Major shout out to Willie Jordan. If you get that two game suspension then it was well earned. Shows how backwards and antiquated the OHSAA is, as well as the powers in place in the Columbus Public Schools and DeSales for this happening in the first place.
BTW, not only should DeSales be ashamed for this incident happening but so should every other school, school Principal, School board, school AD, school Head Coach, all of the parents, and the players that allow this sort of Rap music to be played and nothing is done about it. It has become more and more obnoxious over time and I am very surprised that many have not stepped up well before Willie made the scene at the DeSales-Brookhaven game.
As someone else said already that I heard comment on it, there is not a lot in Rap (word wise) that is redeemable in the first place. Thus if you are in a position of authority at a school, and you are letting your school teams pick the Rap music out to be played you might just want to listen to the words of the songs first that are being played.
It really does say something though that a coach from a Public School had to get into it with a person at a Catholic school over the music that was being played.
