Grass or the fake stuff for playoff games and state finals

Ok coach let's here your thoughts on what type of field you want or don't want to play the playoff games and the state final on.

The field should never play into the outcome of a game. Turf helps elimination that imo. Being a little closer to the Ohio Valley, I frequently attend the WV state finals at Wheeling Island Stadium. The field used to be grass and by game 2 it was an absolute muddy mess 95% of the time.

As a player I hated the fake stuff. I seem to be in the minority but give me grass any day.

If we could have grass, it would be fine. But the finals are in December and it's been very wet all fall. If there's any grass left, it'll be gone after the first quarter, replaced by mud. Does anyone want their team to play for a state championship in mud?
