Game is being played @ Martins Ferry

Coshocton is struggling with injuries lately but will likely have many of their injured players back for this game. Martins Ferry has played to their competition most of the year and knocked off the top team in the region (St. C) in the regular season.

Who wins and why?

It looks like the Skins stay home with a Ferry loss to Bellaire or an East Knox win over Danville. I doubt either will happen, so it looks like we hit the road. The trip impact is diminished because it's on Saturday. It may actually help that we will be playing on turf.

If the Skins get healthy, then this is a very winnable game for them. IMHO.

Martins ferry is also hit hard by injuries. We have 4 starters out, 3 since the 2nd game of the year, that including our best defensive player who is out for the year. All 4 are Lineman so we took a huge hit there, but we should be fine. More than likely we will see you in ferry.

Ferry is up 21-0 in the 2nd 5 min til halftime. Ferry defense has held bellaire to minus yards of offense so far.

Should be a good game. Pressure is on the Skins to be the 2nd team from the county to beat Ferry at their house...good luck skins

If you take 70 east, you will get off in bridgeport, go north on 7, on 7 go thru the light by krogers and at the next light by stoney hollow you can turn left to the light at the top of the hill and then make a right this way you can park at the hospital and take the footbridge to the field or you can make a right at the light(by stoney hollow on 7) then make a left and hope you can find parking by the field. Or you can go 250.
Does anyone know if a Charter bus is going??

I just hope the injury bug stays home for this game, ferry is already going into the game with 4 starters out. Should be a good game thou. I'm going to say 17-14 ferry.

Good luck skins from Hartley.

Martins Ferry is a great place to play and an amazing atmosphere. I would say it's a much better atmosphere than even ironton. ( we lost at Ferry in the first round a few years back)

3 weeks I would have been confident of a Coshocton win...now we're just going to have to see which team is least hampered by injuries...
I remember liking the Martins Ferry Crowd...hope it's a good game and No More Injuries!

Being a saturday game there should be a really good crowd. I don't know how well your fans travel, but there will be a sea of purple. Ferry stadium has a seating capacity of 8,000 and a total capacity of 10,500 with standing room.

Looking Foward to a good game in a great atmosphere. We have always had good hard fought games this will not be any different. As far as a prediction goes im going to say 21-17 Skins.

If coshocton comes out and plays all four quarters they can win. However if they try to still be the "second half team" it will catch up with them and they will be one and done. Im going with Ferry on this one.

A fellow told me to take 36 to 250 to route 7 turn left and the field is right there....is this right way to go ??

I would take 77 south to 70 east. Get off at the Bridgeport exit on route 7. Go North through Bridgeport on route 7 and your there. Stadium is on the right. 250 may be shorter mileage, but probably longer time wise. Plus if you go 250 it is a two lane road, and probably have a much greater chance of hitting a deer going through those areas.

Is there something i dont know about coshocton? At first everyone was picking them, now not so much. I know they are a good team and so are my riders. I expect a good game, unless something major happens.

You can get there that way, but I'd I70 East to I470, right past the St. Clairsville Mall. Exit I470 at the Bellaire/Bridgeport Exit. Take Route 7 North.
The second traffic light will bring you to the stadium area. It is in an Industrial Park along the river. There is not much parking. It is best to turn left at this second traffic light and head up the hill past the McDonald's. Turn right at the traffic light and parking is right down the road at the hospital. Walk across the footbridge across Route 7 to the stadium.

I kind of expected a result like this, Martins Ferry seemed like they were a solid squad, but if you take away Coshocton's injuries they're just on another level.

Gratz to the skins on their well earned victory, and good job to Ferry for having another great year.

Just cant see it @ Steubenville. New Phila makes most sence. One things for sure, we will find out soon. Glad to be matched up with the Red Devils. Been a time since we played after leavin the ECOL.
