It looks simple to me...Verlon Reed is out for the season, Posey may not be back at all? You've got a fresh. QB...Get your 5 best lineman, your 2 best TE's put Boren and Hyde/Hall/Boom?Smith in the I and one WR and pound the ball and then run boots and Playaction off of it to the TE's, and your one WR...That would be my gameplan...

AH, the Lancaster offense with an occasional pass.

Heck no, the Gales don't run any iso! And they throw one pass per game! I'd call 40 run and 20 pass plays out of offensive scheme I said. thats a 2-1 run to pass ratio...Not the Gales 50 runs to 1 pass per game...not even close..i'd be looking for 200+ yards running the ball and another 150+ passing the ball at 7.5 yds/attempt passing.

Hey, when you're playing with A.) inexperienced qb's B.) inexperienced wr's and C.) getting blitzed the crap out of...you've got to come up with an offensive scheme that fits your strengths

Relax Frankis, I'm just messin' with you. However, I'm afraid OSU would have trouble running anything even that simple given how MSU had no trouble getting thru their o-line. OSU recievers can't outrun the rush.

“Come downhill, stop getting cute, don’t line up in the option spread and run the option. That’s not going to work. Go back to old school football, put the fullback in the backfield, two tight ends, one flanker, and run the football. If that’s the best that you can do, deal with it.” Quote from Edddie George this afternoon on Serius/XM college football talk...Was he in my mind yesterday? lol, it's about getting 7 offensive players going against 9 defensive players in practice! When I coached, I loved a power running game...I would put my 11 O players on the field against 5 D-lineman, 5 LB'ers and and 4 db's...

Though I agree with youGolden, I'd like to see them spread it out and flood zones with receivers ever now and again. You can cause a lot of confusion that way. It could cause some receivers to pop open.
