Easily the best performance I've ever seen running the ball in a high school game. He is one heck of a running back. The official stats per The Newark Advocate were 328 yards on 30 carries...for a mere 10.9 yards per carry. Most RB's have wet dreams about averaging that in a game...that was his average for this game, but it's also right at his CAREER average for YPC. And TD runs of 5, 46, 20, 34, 1 and 16 yards.

UA QB David Smith went 14-22 for 222 yds and 3 TDS 0 Ints. Played a great game in a 29-27 loss.
I think he was either 0 for 2 or 0 for 3 at end when Tri Valley was playing deep and all UA could do was throw deep.

French had an average game by his standards as QB, he threw for 230 yards and two TD's but his performance as a punter was off the charts. Two of his pass completions ended up with the guy getting tackled at the 3 and we ran it in from there. Could of easily been 4 TD's.
He punted 5 times and averaged over 47 yards a punt!
He controlled field position with his leg. One punt went for 48 yards and ended up turning into a touchdown when the receiving guy tried to field the ball on the 3 and ended up fumbling the ball in the end zone. Eaton recovered for a TD. If all he did was punting that would be considered a dominant performance.
