Nutty: No shame in that. Looks like Darby is the class of the Hilliard frosh squads. Not basing this solely on 1 freshman game, this is simply a reaffirmation of what I saw from the squads in MS.

Yeah I could agree with that. We'll see what happens. It's a long season. Darby's freshmen played really well. Just couldn't make enough plays or stop enough plays. HH Wayne is a really good team. Hats off to them.

Real tough loss too a solid looking team in HHW.
The blocked punt for a TD for Wayne which totally changed the momentum of the game ultimately was the deciding factor points wise too.
These kids will bounce back.
I totally expect them to real off a string of wins and finish around 8-2

St Charles frosh won by at least 4 touchdowns. Canal had at least two freshmen playing Varsity correct?

Wow, go easy there. St Charles frosh beat CW 24-8. As for the frosh playing varsity, there are 2 listed on the varsity roster and I believe 1 did get in. He recovered the fumble on the 1 in the varsity game that started the CW game winning drive. Don't believe he started though. Not sure if he played in the freshman game or not.

CW JV did get hammered 42-6 by St Charles, maybe that is where you got the 4+ TD's??

It was hot so I might have missed something at the end. But I didn't miss my grandson "pinning" Logan's QB. Maybe he can take that move to the mat this year.

I'll be cheering both teams from here out. :D

Lancaster did this with their 2 best Frosh playing in back up roles at QB and LB/RB in the varsity game and scoring all the points in the 27-6 JV win over Logan!! Future is bright in Galetown!

Lites: Coke explained it on aother thread. I think when North was originally suppose to play Mooney, they were "all in" V, JV, and Frosh. Central didn't have a frosh game with Moeller so they went hunting for a Frosh game and picked up Watty. When North cancelled the Mooney game and hooked up with Watty, the Watty's Frosh were already committed to playing Pick Central. So, everyone had a date except for North's Frosh, who eventually found a mate in Westland. Something like that....

I was also curious because Darby had been playing Watty for the past 3 yrs.
Not sure what happened with that series there but Whetsone didnt have a frosh team so Darby was left without a game.
We were able to get a last minute fill in with Huber Heights Wayne so it was really a great situation for our kids to play a premiere D1 program at home no less. I would have been happy to go to Wayne for that tilt.
Great game and great experience for the young Panthers.

This will be mainly OCC but I will include the other Cent Oh teams.
Just get me the scores and records.
I tracked this 2 yrs ago when I had a frosh playing then and everyone seemed to enjoy the threads(except for the occasional idiot that had to troll and say "it's freshman ball, it doesnt matter!" Then get off the thread! lol)

Anyways good luck to the frosh youngers that are the foundation of the programs to follow!
